Hi there!

J-Mor had a great idea and that was to share the creative process with the script, so you can see how I create everything from scratch with the writter directions!

This one in particular is from "Amazing Mary Jane #3" pages 2 and 3 which is a splash (both pages together as one)

Some writters give you more directions than others, if they really have a clear idea on their mind of what they want they'll let you know.

And sometimes they just let me decide what to do, mainly in fights, they just say "character A throws character B" and I just run with whatever I want. That's fun.

Let me know if you want to see more of these ;)

Enjoy!

That's awesome! I've always wondered how much direction artists are given. Besides MJ and America, are there any titles you would love to do a run on? Also are you psyched to heat America Chavez will be in Doctor Strange 2?

This is very informative and a brilliant showcase on the work process for comic book page translation. Thank you so very much.

I for one would LOVE more posts like this. Maybe 1 script/process post a month? I'd love to see how you translated an X-Men page someday XD

When you cover pages, whether the official or variant covers, what process is it between you & the writers/editorial when finalizing the end product?
