I have decided to share this video as it is without any edits. You, my dear patrons get first access to view it at your leisure. I will be posting it publicly on Sunday afternoon. This is exciting and nerve wracking because usually a lot of thought and curating goes in to post production video edits...

Sharing it as it is, in its original form feels weird. Will people like it? Do I really want to share this much of myself to the world? The answer must be yes, because I played this video on stream tonight and the feedback was overwhelming. Didn't expect to hear how it made others feel. Hula Hooping at Sunset - Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia

Baring my soul while doing what I love, with hoops and silk fans on Nusa Lembongan Apr.15 2023 Context: 7 years ago I came to Bali, on a hula hoop retreat. At the time, hooping was a light hobby and not something I was fully connected with yet. I hadn't felt the "flow" but did enjoy the feeling of play. During a morning meditation session at said retreat, I got the notion that I could make hula hooping my future. Didn't know how, or where I would even start. Now 7 years later, I am a full time professional hula hoop performer, teacher, and flow arts live streamer on Twitch. My community from Twitch brought me back full circle to where this hoop dream began and the emotions of this revelation took hold as I danced my little heart out. My intention in filming this video was to splice it up, remove the vulnerable ending and show the pretty parts that social media algorithms like... but, after sharing this with the stream tonight I was encouraged to bare it all. And so, here I am. This video has not been edited. It is raw and real. Still funny to think that not so long ago, I was afraid to be seen in motion. Insecurities almost stopped me from even picking up a hoop in the first place. It's been a journey of growth and self trust. One that I am still learning every day. Go with the flow.
