To be honest I dropped the series when it turns violent and gore. I never assisted to the second season but for what I heard it the violence and blood just go "in crescendo". What I only really like was the passive aggressive (almost erotic) interactions between this two.

Honestly, for me, the second season was more entertaining, but I guess some people can't handle violence and blood; that's okay, though. This is better (the art) and I hope to see more as I can see that predator/pray sex is your thing

Yes, violence and blood are not for me, I barely handled some moment in the first season.

I won't hold it against you; it’s not for everyone, but at least something good came out of it for ya.

Ah I love the nude legoshi with the partially clothed Louis!

Second season is darker for sure, if blood and violence is not your thing I understand why you stopped watching it at the end of season one. Third season (adapting the 4th arc of the Manga) will be more calm, a big return to the slice-of-life side of the story, and probably more focused on Legoshi's relationship with new characters, especially his grandfather. Forget the 5th arc, it's a long fight against the Joker and it mostly sucks. Even the author regrets it.

It's sad to say it, but Paru Itagaki is "better" at portraying violence than she is at portraying sex. It's a pity, when her characters are so sexy.
