Hey everyone, today we're raising an interesting topic, it will be about our future, or rather the future of the project.

We'll take a little bit of your time, because we need your opinion. While discussing the further development of our game universe, our team was split in opinion...

Part of our team loves the lore of Starcraft, but in terms of future development, we are getting constrained by copyright, which will be ever more threatening in the future.

We value players' opinions and want you to be part of this discussion. Which scenario you feel is more preferable:

StarCraft Parody:

This universe is familiar and beloved to all of us, but at the same time has a huge number of limitations. Makes it a little easier to write the screenplay, gives us the opportunity to connect more deeply with specific lore situations. Includes everyone's favorite characters.

Parody universe:

The same universe, but... slightly changed. This world will still be just like the one we love, the characters will be the same and recognizable, there may be minor cosmetic changes, as well as name changes or alterations. We will continue to parody, but in a more independent way, this will allow us to utilize larger platforms such as Steam. We won't be so strictly constrained by lore and will be able to introduce original characters... Although, as you may know, we love to expand beyond the established lore, as we did in Slutcraft.

The plot and script remain the same in both cases.

So here we are, all of us sharing our feelings and asking for your advice. Your feelings and impressions are important to us. Whether you're interested in staying within the Starcraft universe or vice versa.

In any case, the new project will satisfy your most diverse fantasies. We can't wait to share news about its development with you already 😈

Honestly whatever gives you the most freedom and whatever the team finds works best for them, if one option is too constraining or the team aren't as invested it will bog everything down

Muthias

Well having Nova in the game in the future would be nice.

Grant T. Moyers

I hate being limited myself, but I do agree with Darkshaman

Starweaver

Please do a parody universe and in c lude beings such as from the Mass effect universe like femshepZ Liara, Tally, Miranda, Jack and EDI, I am a writer as well and I will allow you to ta ke characters from my Star Quest universe and add them as well if you desire.

Danny

i would love a starcraft parody but like Darkshaman said whatever gives you guys the most freedom im down for ever you guys do next i just love the art all the love you guys put into your work!!!!!!

ShadowEclipse

Could we have Ariel Hanson survive and gain her as our test subject to infest and lewdify? Gain a 'smart' ally that has information about Jim and a template for infesting Terrans in a less painful way?

WyamondWolf

I'm all for you guys to keep going. If it's going to be easier to breath away from copyright, then go with that option. I've seen too many creators fly too close to the sun I get shut down at best, and fines and prison time at worst.

I think that relying on the story of StarCraft can better represent the characters, and isn't the simple story more convenient for this game?

Giesewickl

Agreeing with the more possibilities in a parody universe. Especially with the option to address steam or similiar platforms. Relying on patreon can be tough.

Shadow

Can you do both a bit of both options when it works/needed?

Shadow Portal

The problem is that let's say that if we refer directly to the characters (Blizzard), we will already be denied access to sites such as Steam. Let's say more, some parody games even on patreon are deleted....

Shadow Portal

Yeah, doing the game as it is, it's really easier for us, because we don't have to do anything else. But then we won't be able to settle on new features.

ShadowEclipse

Either is fine, she was an interesting character that if given the chance, could become a backup/experimental Abathur or work under Abathur to improve efficiency.

Shadow Portal

In fact, we plan to introduce 3 girls (possibly more) in the new project, and will only focus on them. Nova, Sarah, Carolina.

Starweaver

I fully understand where your coming from Shadow Portal, and KY offer to you t o use MY characters in my universe of Star Quest is still available if y ou choose to use them.

First of all, considering the tags "corruption" and "transformation" as the central genres, when Nova becomes corrupted, unlike Kerrigan, she could take on a Zerg form with mechanical enhancements (for example, power lines added to areas like her neck or thighs, or mechanical textures added to her skin). Alternatively, Jim Raynor could undergo a gender transformation, become corrupted by the Zerg, and live with Kerrigan, or Mira Han, another character from StarCraft 2, could turn into a Zerg. Another option could be a storyline where the Xel'naga Kerrigan loses to Amon in the final battle of StarCraft 2, resulting in her merging with Amon. If not StarCraft, there could be a scenario in Overwatch where a heroic character like Tracer is captured by Blackwatch and brainwashed to have purple skin, similar to Widowmaker. Alternatively, borrowing from James Cameron's Avatar series, a soldier from the RDA could be captured by Eywa's tendrils and transformed into a Na'vi. Another idea could involve the Alien series, where a soldier from Weyland-Yutani Corporation is captured by the Alien Queen and transformed into a massive, muscular Alien female with human characteristics. Or, taking inspiration from one of the many fantasy works, the female protagonist could transform into a large, muscular orc, or a hellhound, dragon, lamia, siren, mermaid, shark, cheetah, or even a dragon centaur in a vast, open world concept.

I like the idea (very much) of seeing this on Steam.
