Hello everybody! We've got good news: while our artist was doing their job, we've started playtesting and have already conducted 5 runs and fixed an enormous amount of bugs.

0.12 is at it's final stage, only a little bit of time left before release! We've mainly focused on the plot in this update, so it will contain many answers to the many questions you might or might not have had.

After the release, we are planning to conduct several polls amongst our patrons regarding what will be added to the game. But that's only after the release. We would like to apologize for the long wait again and thank all of you who are still waiting for it. Thank you very much!

Yours respectfully,Shadow Portal team.

Do you guys need another developer? Happy to help code this and speed up the release

Arcoreni

Its been over a week since this announcement

Anthony

We are all excited for this new update, but like a wiseman said once: better safe than sorry 😊

Immortalryu

Yes I would rather it take longer but be quality then for them to release garbage quickly

hey guys, it's 2 weeks since this message - when will this be released? been checking every few hours per day lately :P

Oak Oakman

keep up the great work btw i look at this page every time i can which is all day long the curent update is great but can't wait for the next (0.13 update).. also is this going to be a full game in the end and if so when is it going to get finished?

Booty Connoisseur

At this point I think it'll be quicker to countdown the days until the 3 month aniversary of the last update, then to wait for the next update. 7 days left.

Dirtysmile

May I ask when will the next update come out please, if its not completed don't rush make a good product and keep up the good work.

Hey guys, this is one of the top projects I am following so far. I have been checking this page several times each day. "just the littlest bit of work left!" that was 7 days ago. If by little > 7 days, and the progress bar is any indication of progress, _and_ "Full time work on the project" over $1,500 per month - then there's definitely something wrong... Is the significant delay because of the art? If so, I will offer to help out with that if you need help with this as well. I have experience in this area in addition to coding.. Let me know what's going on - happy to help I don't want you to rush it - quality is always better than speed. However, you need to provide some level of transparency so we know what is going on than giving a 90% roughly completed estimation across the board, and not updating us with any issues after that...

Guys, it will be today or tomorrow do not worry :)

Arcoreni

I think it should be a thing to not post "soon" until you know for sure that the new version can be released within the next 3 days. We appreciate the assurance but this isnt the way to do it. A good way to assure patreons that the project is alive is occasionally throwing out concept or design art that can be locked.

Played v0.12 - and I am extremely disappointed with the fact that it took you guys 3 months to come up with two small spanking scenes (with the same image, repeated numerous times with small facial and clothing changes). This took you guys 3 months to do "FULL TIME"?? I call bullshit. From one developer to another - how the heck can this take 3 months to do. And "fixed an enormous amount of bugs" for something like this? You have got to be kidding me. I don't know if you guys are taking the piss out of your loyal patrons sponsoring you, but what you are doing is ripping them off for minor updates, using other pet projects as an excuse for time delays. Also, releasing just hours before a new billing cycle to trap new patrons who were waiting for the latest release into getting billed twice ($20 instead of $10)? that action itself have lost my respect for you guys. I used to be one of those loyal patrons, but I am pulling my funding - and I hope either you guys will shape up your game and make real progress with the project, instead of lying to everyone about how hard it is to make this update.

I am also diappointed and taking back my funds. version 0.12 had much more features in just 2 months.I was expecting 3 months of work would contain a lot of work, nice scenes and everything with amazing stuff.. instead we've got pointless labirynth thing, 0 new inventory stuff which i expect to be plenty or at least 2-3 and 0 sexy stuffs.... it is really sad for you that you cannot work properly on such nice game.

Here are some constructive feedback: - Focus on one project - in this case, Slutcraft only. All resources should focus on the progression of that game. Even after v0.12 was released, i was surprised to see a survey come out for another game, not related to Slutcraft. I was confused.. you guys need to really focus on just the one game only. - If creating a version for multiple platforms are taking too long.. you need to narrow it down. Focus on two major categories of users.. e.g. PC and Mac.. e.g. Android phone users, would also have a PC or Mac. Heck, you can even focus on just one category: PC - because many Mac users may already (if not, could easily) also have a windows session set up on their machines - All streams should always remain in progress, there should be no break in between releases. E.g. when storyline is decided and done for the next version, that person should also start planning for the version after.. and keep going.. E.g. if the art is taking most of the time, then the artist needs to be working on the project continuously - not just for the latest version, but the one after that - once story is figured out. If that still doesn't speed it up enough, have the artist bring someone else up to speed to help contribute to the art. At least that way it will help speed things up. - On-time updates: Setting up a Trello board for example, and giving patrons access to view (not edit) what is going on will help us understand what you guys are doing exactly - on-time vs the coloured bar you have been providing previously.. Why you should do the above: If you guys are able to deliver quality work on a more frequent basis, it will show your patrons that you are definitely working full time on this, and that will justify you asking your patrons to contribute more money to your goal.. e.g. double or triple what you are currently getting. If you have a great product, which I think you have potentially - then you will expect to see people paying you more because they know you are doing your best. Whilst I have pulled my funds out for the time being.. I will still keep an eye on the project.. If it does go well, I will sponsor it again, and get more people to sponsor too. As I have said earlier - you guys have a great team, and a great product, just gotta focus more, communicate more, and work in a more efficient way to get more things done sooner.
