Unlike their first test, which had been competitive in nature, the next encounter with Karas felt entirely different. After being separated for a few years to train, both had developed a hardened edge, but there was an edge of coldness with her. Karas approached her with the clear intent to win, striking hard and fast without hesitation, as if she were an enemy, which caught Ves off guard.

Big drop on this one, i just wanted to smash out as much of them, still a few more to go. I got stuck because i realized aint no way i can fit all their story in one month, so its just going to end of the first part, which is good me thinks.
