For the gorgons, battling adversaries was a common occurrence in their lives; there was always some fool eager to test their skills. But the word reached them that there appeared to be an influx in Medusa's territory. And so, being the eldest, they decided to leave the mountain to check on her, confident that Stheno's own territory was secure in the hands of her warrior maidens. Along the way she tracked a lone warrior heading in the direction of Medusa's den.

Well, its a rite of passage that chrysus gotta deal with all the gorgons.
