I wanted to work on something while I waited for Catt, who did all the piano tracks for my Shadows House cover (which is next). So here is what I worked on in the mean time!

This song was a nice challenge not only because it’s a duet, but also because of the lower register in the male part. It was good training to work on the lower part of my voice and also create different acting choices despite both characters singing the same words! I hope you enjoy! 🦚

'I Need To Know' - Barbie as the Island Princess【 Duet Cover By Calxiyn 】

Good day everyone! Here is my duet cover of 'I Need To Know', from Barbie as the Island Princess! I love doing these duets with myself, so I hope you'll enjoy! This song presented a fun challenge: as I sang for both Antonio and Ro, I had to make different acting choices for each character, use different body language and of course, sing in a lower register for the male part. I'm really proud of myself for developing that lower part of my voice and giving a lot of attention to making acting choices outside of what I would normally do, especially as Antonio!
