Following the success of the softcover A TOUCH OF CLASS, we are planning  another Kickstarter softcover compilation of updated EN5ider material. This time, we will be compiling all of our adventures into a softcover book called "Days of High Adventure", and we will be accompanying that with a companion book called "Places of High Adventure" which will compile all of the Over The Next Hill locations.

That's a little ways off yet. We are creating a loose setting to place all of these adventures and locations in (you can see a sneaky preview of the map above!) but we thought it would be fun to let you guys name the place.

So, as a response to this post, please post your suggestion for the name of our setting/world/continent/island.

We will choose the one we like best by the end of next week (Friday July 7th) and the winner will get a free softcover version of both books when they are produced a little later this year.

Legal: Posting a name suggestion constitutes an entry into the contest. You warrant that the name is of your own devising. If we should choose your entry as the winner, you grant us ownership of the name; if we don't, it remains yours. If you are very attached to the name and wish to keep it, it's better to think up another name. Only one entry will be chosen. You will be credited in the book as the creator of the setting's name.

Era'Nil Era (age) + Nill (zero) = Era'Nil (timeless)

Syderia! Populated by Syderians. (Ensider > Sider En > Syderian)

I'd be even less coy, and just call it The World of En. Needs to be MUCH bigger though :) Which over time I expect it will be.

My top 3 choices are: a) Hafenhole b) Dividxend c) Pneuarth

Jester David

The islands of Myrress and Rossui on the World of Ena Chori

Gregory Lusak

Ithica. The bigger of the to is referred to as Greater Ithica by other realms and the smaller island as Lesser Ithica, much to the dislike of those living there.

Trevor Chapman

Chtonia to the south, Ourania to the north with the overall world named Stellaria

Peter Medrano

Ennas Idaer, or perhaps En Sidaer, if you wanted to be less obvious!

Galindebrahn. The larger continent is Galind, and the smaller is Ebrahn. Their names combined is what the known world is called. Legend says they were once one continent, but were cleaved apart in ancient times by a cataclysm brought on by the warring gods. It is said that one day the land will be made whole again by the efforts and sacrifice of a great hero, and on that day evil will be forever banished from the world and an age of Devine prosperity and peace will begin.

I like a number of the ideas posted so far, and like a lot of people who like playing with words, names, and puns, I appreciate the transmutations on the term "EN5ider". Of those, Max Churak's "Syderia", with it's trail of development, is my current favorite.

As to the entries proposing more original names, Static's offerings with a pronunciation guide (yes!) are good; David's comment including some mythos regarding the geography of the continents already jump-starts my imagination; and Gregory Lusak's mention of a possible reason for resentment and conflict are all worth thinking about, in whole or in part, in the contest's conclusion.

Ideron [ih-der-on], divided "greater" and "lesser," based on the size of the two largest islands. The land's latest conquerors settled in the greater half, and the name has always left those in the lesser half with a bit of ire over their diminutive nomen.

Kyndilland, or just Kyndill. The split continent reminds me of a torch. The top continent being the flame to the bottom continents torch. Kyndill is icelandic for torch and sounds nicer (to me) than "Torchland"

We're considering all these entries. Thanks for your submissions, everyone!

Did you arrive at a winner, yet?
