The Cruel Retribution feature is worded in a way that seems mostly clear but is a little ambiguous. Does the speed reduction replace the damage? Can you only use Cruel Retribution 1/rest or just the speed reduction feature of it, while using the reaction attacks at will?

Maximum Miniatures

The damage and speed reduction stack, and you get to do the entire feature once per short rest, I believe.

The Animated Backpack

I would like to see a mental version of this... a “mind eater” version and have some cool backlore options of the two dueling it out over the recent/current departing.
