A brand new 5E adventure! What if everything the PCs encountered here was a lie? The village in peril, the wizard’s tower, and the promise of an ancient treasure; all of it set up and presented to the PCs like a trail of breadcrumbs. All of it eventually leading to their deaths, orchestrated by a powerful manipulator: a literal master of dungeons. By Kiel Chenier, based on a concept by Paul Padmore; Illustrated by Mel Tillery; cartography by Kiel Chenier and Michael McCarthy.

Looks very interesting! Loving the eldritch Cabin in the Woods vibe. My only critique is the "Save or Die" mechanic of the Larval Old One's Devour ability; I can't think of a single other Save-or-Die in 5e (though may well be wrong). Seems to have fallen out of design favour and is generally replaced with "Take XdX damage. If you are reduced to 0 hit points by this, you die." which is how I might run it to give them a potential chance. Maybe have them take it every turn but give them a chance to escape. Otherwise, love it.

Looks like fun if your characters can take some punishment. Quick question did I miss the Mutation Table for the old one or is it missing?

Kiel Chenier

Turned out really well in layout. The layout adjustments to accommodate staggered random tables is really well done and very useful.

What a fun adventure. Doesn't really fit into my campaign, but I'm definitely going to find an opportunity to run this as a one-off.

Seems to be missing the Random Mutation Table referenced.
