Hey Everyone,

I've been feeling pretty down on myself for multiple reasons, but mainly that I've been way slower than intended to finish these next series of videos. Various things like too many personal events to balance, my health, and family things have gotten in the way.

I feel bad that I'm behind and it weighs on me heavily. I know how much people enjoy my well written/edited projects and I want to get back to that fun, and its been hurting me for awhile that it seems I've been incapable of getting that energy back.

Otherwise on a brighter note, I think I've been able to manage some aspects of my time and life better recently, which has helped me get back in the grove with the creation process. And with that here's a sneak peak of my next big Armchair Urbanist video, all about how the Boomers (and older Gen X) are misunderstood when it comes to some of the urbanism beliefs that they might have. Not really a Boomer apology video, more of a look into the sociology of generations and what caused the Boomers to believe in certain things (like wanting to live in car dependant suburbs).

This script so far is definitely one of my strongest, but I've just had a hard time putting everything else together. My main camera (Fuji XT5) decided that its primary kit lens should randomly have its focusing motor fail, so that has sidelined some workflow that would have otherwise been included, but I've adapted the script again to lessen some shots.

The plan otherwise is to put out some smaller videos by the end of the month too, one about Queenslink and one about the possible gas crisis that is about to happen.

Either way I'm very thankful that you are all so patient, I promise that some very cool and very overdo videos will be coming in August too.

Hope that your summer (or winter for you southern hemisphere people) has been good!

-Alan
