I'm not 100% sold on the looks of Lauren as played by the actress on DS9. And since she's now going to play a much larger role in my story, I am willing to consider an alternative look if my captain and admiral patrons support the change.

What should Lauren look like? If you think she should be changed, but you're not keen on Karen Gilan, suggest another actress in the comments.

I think it's better to change her she just looks like someone of our time where as people from Star Trek are suppose to be more attractive because of improved health and technology but those are still the average people she's a Augment so she should be even more beautiful than the average Federation Citizen

Yea I have to agree changing her looks to someone of our time would make sense

Yeah I remember that even though the character was supposed to be sultry, that wasn't what I got from the original actress. More of the sexual frustration got through instead of sultry succubus. My vote would be for Gina Gershon of the 90s. Similar body and facial structure to the original actress but Gina just tempts more. Just my 2 cents.

War sage

Honestly if you hadn't used her for Beverly I would have suggested Catherine Hendricks

Joseph Orlando

I'll keep the poll up for a while longer, but it seems like the vote is overwhelmingly to change Lauren to a modern actress.

Or... just looking through actresses recently and Emmy Rossum might also work since she is younger and more new readers might know her better.
