In an upcoming scene (probably chapter 10), Gothic is going to insert himself in some semi-public sex on Risa.  That's not crazy given the culture.  Would it be wonky, though,  if he discovers, accidentally, that the girl he's in mid-process of banging is Janeway, not yet named captain of Voyager at this point in the timeline?

Part of me rather LOVES the fact that you guys are as unsure as I am and the poll is so close. It tells me that future polls are going to be really interesting and will potentially help me make a decision.

Ahh do it. it would be hilarious if they meet back up and they are both like wtf you!?

I'm thinking about it, lol. By the time they'd conceivably meet again, though, I think she'd already be thrust into the Delta quadrant, so that kind of payoff might be hard to pull off. I'll have to check the timeline to see when she's on DS9. I'm pretty sure she was there right before her mission to the badlands.

they do stop at DS9 on the way to the badlands, its in the very first episode of star trek voyager
