“Can I offer you a drink?” I asked.

Looking thoughtful, T’Maz answered, “A glass of Vulcan port.”

Walking over to my apartment’s replicator I ordered two glasses of this drink that I hadn’t had an opportunity to try in this new life. The drinks produced were an indigo blue in color, similar to Romulan ale. I walked back over to T’Maz and handed her the drink and took a seat in the armchair next to the couch. Say what you want about the Federation, but this was one comfortable chair.

Swishing the drink around my cup, I observed how the blue liquid coated the glass thickly in a syrupy film, which in a human wine meant it was quite alcoholic. That made sense, a Vulcan’s physiology was extremely robust, thus they’d need a more powerfully alcoholic drink to feel much of anything. My Augment biology probably wouldn’t notice it much either, but an extra kick was always appreciated these days, especially after the recent trouble I’d found myself in.

Vulcan port

Vulcan port was an alcoholic beverage produced on Vulcan, having a characteristic indigo blue color (reminiscent of Romulan ale). In 2370, Quark had a particularly dusty bottle of Vulcan port among his personal stock, which was regarded as a considerably expensive and very rare vintage, given that it was three centuries old.
