Chapter 31 - The Army (Bajoran) Commendation Medal (Patreon)

As the Militia had never given out any medals in its short existence, we were essentially creating everything from scratch, and I had put forth a design based on the Army Commendation Medal from my old world and time, which had a ribbon in the colors of Bajor, on which a hexagonal metal plate hung, with an ancient Bajoran ideograph for service/commendation depicted. As no one had had a better idea, they simply accepted it and here I was, a General in an alien military wearing a formal dress uniform and a medal that I had personally designed…to honor myself.

Life was simply absurd sometimes.
