Nice. Did always like those little school kid stories on that website.

I've always loved this one, I love that it's becoming a comic! And possibly an expansion?

Be careful what you wish for. Getting along as easily as the girls after all has a clear opening.

Senior year of high school at Age 19 and 20? What country or region is this in? Most western and Japanese high school seniors are 17-18. Granted some areas you can take a couple years before starting high school. Either this is one of those areas or these two failed a year or two. The latter would make college acceptance an uphill battle. Though not an impossible one.

High school is 6 years in the society this story takes place in, but adulthood is still at 18.

Yeah, I had the same question. 19 is *barely* understandable (kid who turned 19 right after the first day of school, making him just a little too young to be a year earlier). But only a student who got held back *at least* a year is going to be 20 while still in high school. Quite a jarring plot point.

I think its like Hollywood Highschool to avoid having someone too young to fall into TOS hazard ranges. Look at the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer actual ages.

I’m like how it goes

I was 19 when i graduated HS, and my senior took a gap year before entering college so I thought this is normal in asia. it seems it is a big surprise to many western fans

Wikipedia has many charts on average ages of school systems.
