Paypal Situation in Thailand (Patreon)

this is a post from princess hinghoi and i think she summarized it pretty nicely. She posted'  My greedy government wants tax from PayPal including all money that can earn from the internet and the deal with PayPal somehow ends up needing a business account instead of an individual account to receive the money as a result. This means small freelance artists will need to open the company (that could take about $3000 and many papers work to open from what i heard) just to take some $40-50 commissions. 🤦 This could end my freelance artist career along with 95% of freelancer artists in Thailand, so if you used to commissions with thai artists all of them might be gone by Feb next year.
