Maybe some thought bubbles for perspective on both of them. The height difference is unmistakeable but does he know what is going on at all yet? Did he notice the skirt comment with how drastic this has already been.

Great job so far. I would say a slightly slower pace could be fun so you can show some of the thoughts going on for both characters. But I do like the pace of having at least a few subtle changes happening every page.
