Another sneak peek at my picture book entry! Since the last time I posted about it, I've refined it more and feel as if I'm in a good place with the book dummy. Text and everything edited onto the pages. Everything organized in a pdf. It feels good to not be trying to get things done last minute. I pretty much never have things done this early!!

Ricky Rat is a character I want to utilize more in the future. He's a silly little guy, almost like a reject Gus-Gus from Cinderella. There are a few rules I've mentally come up with in my head for any books featuring him. 1) His great-great-great cousin is always somehow involved, and is usually the reason for whatever journey Ricky goes on. His great-great-great cousin does not have a name, must always be on the side doing his own thing, keeping Ricky in the focus.

Its a little bit of a spoof on country city mouse. I also love drawing his little pet rolly polly. He would be featured in every book too, doing his own little thing in the background even if he's not mentioned within the text...

I know a lot of people pledge specifically for my nsfw content, which is fine! But I also have a lot of interest and passion creating things for kids/all ages. Its important to me that they get good, silly content too that doesn't talk down to them.
