Trying to draw with a splint might not be my brightest decision, but of COURSE I'd be most motivated to draw right after surgery!

This fall I am tabling at the comic convention MICE. For it, even though I told myself I'd never fall into this again- I'm going to redraw the first chapter of Gabriel Grumbletoon for print.

I want to eventually have the comics in physical form, but because I started this comic back in 2018 my artwork has developed so much for the better. The new version of the chapter will not be uploaded right away to Tapas, but I will upload them there for now page by page!

Your art has definitely improved, but don't let yourself redraw a second time! By the time you get to the end, your skills will have improved even more, and the temptation will be REAL. I rewrote a story I was working on four times and never finished due to burnout from this, and I don't wanna see that happen here!

No worries, I've been through this like 5 times with my comic XD I only plan on doing the first 20 pages for print, then I'm going back to the usual. I appreciate the concern though, its a real problem for us comic creators!!
