mr. feel good is alive

That's the end of the third comic, I guess I should discuss Fat Chance going forward.

I'm mainly going to be focusing on short comics (1 - 5 pages) that are prioritized on weight gain, as I noticed most people don't care for the long plots anyways.

Let me know what you thought of this comic and what you think about short comics going forward!

I love these long form viki comics! It’s something I look forward to each week.

Heyitthatoneguy

I prefer the long comics honestly and hopefully next installment of Fat chance, love the comic

I should say that this isn't a permanent departure from the long comics, I just want to experiment with side stories is all.

I love the idea of short comics (quick and to the point lol) but I *do* like Fat Chance as a long form comic, something to look forward to each week. I’ll support whatever you decide to do, if you want to park Fat Chance to one side for a while you explore other things I’m ok with that. Short comics give you the chance to mess around in other genres if you wanted to I guess, like fantasy or sci-fi. Anyway, love the work, keep it up!

I don't mind the long comics, your a good storyteller

Dox234

That’s reassuring to know. I look forward to seeing more of Viki’s weight gain journey in the future!

If your gonna make weight gain or belly expansion short comics, make them with main or side characters

coolviki

what I might do is the long comic and the short comics at the same time, but that would mean one page a week and 1 short comic a week.

coolviki

that's what I was thinking yeah, short comics focused on Bubble, Febby and Lav, and just a bunch of ideas I have for Fat Chance customers

I think that’s a great idea, split the difference. Yeah that could work. Also great job on this last one, Viki looks absolutely beached, and all the best for it lol

Great ideas! I always wondered how Bubble got on with her cheerleading after bulking up for example.

I was thinking maybe a Thanksgiving special with morgan mega

Also FWIW I quite enjoy the long comics! You're constantly improving from volume to volume in terms of finding that magic ratio of plot to WG stuff, and as a writer who'd also like to know, it’s very interesting to analyze! Plus the gags always get a chuckle out of me, as well as the wacky expressions. 1-5 is a tad short, imo. If I were trying for some for a leaner story, my gut tells me the place to start searching for a sweet spot might be 15-20 and then from there figure out what works best. That's just me, though. Either way, I am excited to see some of the other characters get some tales. That is one thing that the 70ish page stories kinda restrict, if a character doesn't really have a spot in a particular story, they sorta vanish. But hopefully Viki sticks around, as I feel she's a good POV character for the slightly wackier side cast (she's also cute as a button.) Something like Justice League Unlimited, where any given episode is usually one of the main heroes paired up on an adventure with some more obscure dude like The Question. So a Viki and Eda adventure, Viki and Mega, Viki and Bubble, Cassie, etc. Viki is the key to all this...

I think the longer comics, i.e. the 50+ page comics, will be where Viki is the main focus of weight gain, and the shorts will still feature Viki, probably not gaining weight too much.

coolviki

the 5 page short comics are just to be completely focused on weight gain, still with character writing and everything, but mainly focused on short weight gain sequences.

That makes sense! I'm always interested in seeing some toying with the format so I'm looking forward to it!

fa1995

i wish to see whatever was going on with eda and viki in fat chance 2 blossom into its final form

Pingasranger

I'm down with short comics, however I do also enjoy the longer format. Obviously there is much complaint about length and and all that especially from artists like The One Who Will Not Draw Fat Arms or Faces™ but plots are fun. It is in fact fun to look forward to Fat Chance regularly. Regardless, I'm behind you 100% whatever you wanna do :)
