Neighbor/Moving Situation Update (Patreon)
Content
Spoke to my apt. management in person Monday. They had my detailed letter in hand when I walked through the door and gave me a sympathetic look. I shrugged and we all kind of nervously laughed. I showed them some security camera footage of what we were dealing with and they're firmly on our side.
They haven't gotten enough complaints to warrant an eviction notice(we're all the way on the end, so we're the only one's dealing with them), so we decided on relocating to another unit several buildings down. I asked them not to say anything to them until we were out to avoid any altercation. However, they've been exceptionally silent since the day I spoke to management. Either they caught wind of our complaint, or the management told them to stfu anyway.
It wont stay that way, so we're still moving units. We've been packing and getting rid of shit. I've left out what I need to produce art, as the tenant in the unit we're moving to hasn't fully moved out. They still have to clean and prep the unit for us. So it may be some weeks before we actually start hauling boxes and furniture.
On top of all this, I have to go do job training next week for the new services my shop will be doing. I'll also have to take an exam to get certified to do these new services(federal requirement), then I have to train all twelve of my technicians to do these services and get them certified. No, we're not getting a raise for the extra work we're going to be doing either. I literally got laughed at in my face when I asked.
Those of you who have been following me for a while have probably noticed how often I say my life is busy/hectic. I wasn't kidding lol.
Our rent is only going down $25 a month and we won't have room for a roommate, so maybe the peace and quiet will help me get this patreon thing off the ground. We're gonna need it. A sincere thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. I hope to get back on track soon. ❤️
