🌩️Norael Magazine Spread (Patreon)

Drak here, I've had this idea for a while to replicate a character spread from anime magazines, and I finally went all in on it. Hardest part was not getting stuck on the fake screenshots on the side, gotta suppress the urge to perfect every single detail...

Here's a closer look at them:

I took a lot of inspo from Berserk spreads (and the backs of DvD covers) amongst other animes. My ass was deep in Pinterest, I'll tell you that.

I approached the text more like a poem dedicated to the character rather than pure info. The text loops back to the start infinitely to emphasize the theme of endless conflict and suffering :)

Toil. Yes, toil, accursed one! Her life turned topsy-turvy; by her mistake she was born a second time, made reliant on those she deemed irrelevant. She will writhe in her human skin-bag until ugly rage tears it apart, and then she will do it again.

For she does not belong in the World of Man, she says, while treading upon shards of broken glass reflecting pride, desire, vengeance, and guilt. Alas, there is no time. The blood boils. It's time to...

The big blue text just spells out No-ra-e-ru and the rest (left to right):

A wandering mercenary trapped between two worlds

The Blue Terror

Premonition of a storm

Anyway yeah, I'm super happy with the result, this might be my favorite Nor piece I've done so far!!
