It's so weird--I'm a huge fan of Lianhua and usually cheer for her to win, but Goliath's brutality, her raw, savage aggression and strength are so compelling and sexy I'm enjoying watching her win.

Lianhua seems to enjoy seeing her win AND lose in equal parts, and that's how I imagined her when I designed her. But in your case, it seems more specific to the dynamic between her and Goliath?

Arthur

I can understand how Lianhua would enjoy seeing Goliath either win or lose, because Professor Wong would be proud of her student Jesse succeeding as well as being happy to see herself winning. I think what's specific to the dynamic between Lianhua and Goliath is that I like both fighters and want to cheer for both to win, and that creates additional drama and tension that wouldn't exist in a more classic fight between a hero and villain, where there's only one fighter to cheer for.

This is what I get for trying to respond on my phone. What I meant to say is that "People seem to enjoy seeing Lianhua win AND lose in equal parts." Sorry for the confusion.

Arthur

Oh, I understand now. 👍
