When Third Eye was released it was my fave Skz song....as a huge Massive Attack fan, it got me so hard. And ya, Awaken could easily have been a title track . If there is any track on here that you guys should watch a stage performance of, it should be 3rd Eye. And the First Take of Scars is incredible . Thanks for the Monday gift ladies xx

I will never understand the people who stan a group just purely on looks. For me if I am stanning a group I need to be able to resonate with them and their music. Sure, they are very attractive individuals, but at the end of the day, like you girls said, it is the MUSIC that matters. Also, as you girls mentioned, their music is indeed very diverse and encompasses many genres, where you can at least like a few songs if you're not a fan of them. I am so excited for when you girls get to their SKZ-Replay songs, SKZ-RECORDs, SONG by, Two Kids Show, OST's, collabs, 3RACHA music, and all the other music/covers both on albums and not!!

3racha performed maze of memories at kcon and my life has never been the same since i saw that performance and that cb97.. i LOVE that song. 3rd eye is one of the rare songs for me that i love the song and the feelings it gives me so much that i want them to be special and reserved only for me. its like a treasure to me ah i love these guys so much!!! thank you for the great time 🤍

I became a Stay because of Felix's voice. I was just so intrigued how his voice was the complete opposite of his looks. I loved Gods menu and fell for their discography. I never even noticed Skz visuals I just purely loved their music. I fell for Chans personality LMAO and within a year my type completely changed. From 40 year old men to men in their 20's. That still makes me cackle. Skz mean so much to me because their love languages are so similar to mine and their personalities. I don't get how you bias someone purely because of their visuals, especially when you don't know about their personalities or like their music.

As others mentioned the Mixtapes were re-recorded as OT8 and renamed because parts were rewritten as well. All the mixtapes were written by all the members, when they became OT8 they had to rewrite sections and remove WJs lyrics and with that came renaming the songs. Like Mixtape #2 became Behind the Light. If you recall from your reaction to Mixtape #4 (Broken Compass) there is a line from Felix when he says "Stray Kids 9 or none, we're gonna cross the finish line" I think it was Ozlem who commented on that detail. Well in the OT8 release the lyrics became "Stray Kids, Stay or none, we're gonna cross the finish line". So details like that were changed as well. I am so excited for you all to check out performances of all these songs and may I suggest the District 9 unlock Tour as a way to react to performances from this era https://ok.ru/video/6649190681150 Can't wait for you to discover the rest of their discography and I am prepping for the SKZ Replay album and the SKZ record/players. Their specific hatred came from his treatment of their ult group, GOT7. They have explained it in some of these videos, but I’d struggle to remember which ones exactly. My specific hatred is from his treatment of Chris thru his trainiee days. A pre-teen/teen contemplating ending it all under his eye says A LOT to me. That alone tells me all I need to know about that horrible man. But I can continue with even more things that disgust me… You also have his treatment of all the boys as trainees pre-debut and on the survival show. Using them as pawns for dramatics and ratings thru destroying them emotionally and terrorizing them with fears that they wouldn’t make it or weren’t good enough?? Sorry, but that man can fuck all the way off. To this day he inserts himself in every way he can to leech attention off of the idols at JYP (dance challenges, showing up at their big events, trying to be seen on camera with them when there’s no reasoning behind it, etc). Not to mention how he comes off CREEPY AS HELL being inappropriate or too touchy with the young female idols at JYP. Then another one for me is his bragging about his charitable work. If you have to brag or make whole ass productions that star you in it while you also make your idols be on with you (so there will be more interest/attention), is it because you are truly a charitable and humble man, or is it for the attention and ego? Sorry, but it’s the latter. He does it to whitewash his image to make himself seem like this “amazing good guy.” He’s just not a good person, end of story.

I just love stray kids and sometimes I am like oh here's another song I really love but I literally love it all... sometimes I am like, am I just being biased? no... lol it's the appreciation of all the effort and hard work that goes into their songs and they all just sound so good to me maybe I am biased lol

SKZ 2020 and SKZ 2021 both have songs from the same OT9 albums (so, for example, there are songs from an OT9 album like I Am Not that are on both SKZ 2020 [District 9, Mirror, Grow Up] & 2021 [Awaken, ROCK, 3rd Eye, Placebo] if that makes sense). The songs on both SKZ 2020 & 2021 are then in chronological order of release date & album order so that is why song order can be so jarring - For You -> Maze of Memories for example. As for the division of songs between the albums, I first and foremost think there are 2 albums bc that is a SHIT TON of songs to rearrange distribution, change lyrics and rerecord you know? So they divided it up. I have an educated guess on another reason for the division, as I haven't heard them speak on why, but if they have, someone please correct me. It seems, to me, that 2020 is all the title tracks and songs with full production music videos (I assume YAYAYA is included bc of the busking performance on the survival show, and Question and Boxer were possibly the most popular street videos at the time). I think bc the thought was that these songs are the "more popular" songs they wanted to get them out a little quicker. 2021 then contains all the Mixtape songs, songs with no m/V's or only street version videos. I'd assume these were thought to be the "less popular" songs. So song order wasn't really "chosen by them" or randomized - it's just chronological order.

It’s funny you said third eye was calming, for me i often find it kinda oppressive and that’s why i don’t listen to it much, i have to be in a certain mood to enjoy it. Maybe that’s why stays don’t really talk about this song, if they feel about it the same way as i do

3RD EYE IS A MASTERPIECE, it's in my top 3 with Voices and Slump. I always close my eyes and feel like I'm floating in a green mist for some reason, it's very cloying but in the best way. It makes me so sad no one ever talks about Awaken, the wake up part is such an ear worm for me, the grittt. Don't even get me started on Maze of Memories, I love these songs so much

Love that you girls are talking about it, at the end of the day is about their music the fact that they have an amazing bond, are the most amazing and humble human beings and are extra fine😮‍💨 are just extras that we as stays are lucky to have , but their dream was to make music and help people with it, which is why you both are my comfort reactors for the kids, I’ve watched your videos in loop even when i’m cleaning or working lol, please don’t stop reminding this because it is a conversation that everyone in the fandom should have and be aware of. i enjoyed your reaction sm!! you're so right when you say they have a CATALOGUE bc there's so many genre to please everyone. when i heard god's menu for the first time i was so intrigued on how the song would be bc i only heard felix's part and i was so shocked lol. they introduced me to so many new ways of "constructing" music combined with meaningful lyrics as nowadays it's really hard to get both. and yeah i dont get it either how you can choose a bias or even stan a group solely based on looks or popularity..

Shut up about all the miscellaneous negativity on here that has no real relevance to SKZ and why we became fans in the first place. [Though I've come to realise some people have more shallow reasons]. Me - I heard Gods Menu in 2020 and was legitimately OBSESSED. You don't know me but I don't talk to people that much unless I'm really close to you. I went to work the next day [was working few days in office] and showed the song to everyone asking them how they never told me kpop was this good :) lol. Then I started going into the discography and I continued to be amazed. The music amazed me then and continues to do so now. I enjoy everything else. Their personalities, connection with fans, humour, pretty faces lol, seeing them enjoy success, meeting good people in the fandom [ignoring the not so good ones] - but at the end and beginning of the day I'm here because Stray Kids makes music I love. Music I vibe to, dance to, laugh to, cry to, vent my anger to.

1:56:38 The running theory [and I think there is some evidence to back it up] is that SKZ were able to self-produce from the jump because the company at that time viewed them as an experiment. They had Chan, who a lot of people in the company believed in, and they tried to place him in other groups but it never quite fit. While they were figuring what to do with him he fell in love with producing, met Han and Changbin, formed 3racha, and all of a sudden JYPE saw a sudden path, a fairly unique marketing angle for the company and kpop - a fully self-written and mostly-self-produced group, with a leader who had a lot of training under his belt. They put everything on his [their] shoulders, concept - name - song production etc. Honestly, by what seems to have even been the standards at that time, they didn't invest all that much into them cause this could easily fail. Fortunately for SKZ, Stays and the company, 3RACHA are actually music geniuses, Chan is an amazing leader, all of SKZ are talented, hard working musicians and dancers committed to their craft and the group - so success would be slow but inevitable. They just needed a breakthrough, something to wake up the wider audience. That was Gods Menu and they have not looked back since. I'm forever grateful they persevered and thankful to those early fans who stood by them so I could discover them 6 years ago

I had a similar experience falling in love with their music. I kept getting so surprised/delighted/amazed (pick your adjective really) at every new song I heard. Their personalities are amazing and I've loved learning about them as people - and honestly their bond as a group has been really healing to see - but the music keeps me staying.

besties i know that you don’t listen to ot9 songs but of the old albums Hero’s soup, Glow, School life and 4419 are the only songs that have not been re-recorded and it’s a shame bc they’re so beautiful. Especially 4419 for me is so important bc it was the number of the bus channie and GOT7's bambam used to take in their trainee days and then channie wrote the song for him :((( and then became the date of their first ever win (with miroh!) Also hoodie season was originally a 3racha song that they made ot8!!

The Stray Kids hate doesn’t make sense. Say it louder!! Their discography is so diverse that you can literally find genres that you would love yet here they are saying SKZ makes bad music when they only heard one or two. I love Stray Kids so much & the fact that these songs are written and produced by them with little help with other producers just tells us how fucking amazing they are!!
