They have not discussed their sexuality. I can tell you that the fandom immediately started using feminine terms for the members because they give off a very specific vibe and it got to the point where the company got so confused by the discourse around the fandom that they made a statement saying that they were all men. That's not at all what the fandom was saying but thanks for the clarification on that front. Recently a fan asked Wumuti (i'm pretty positive it was him) if they were okay with feminine terms being used for them and he had to be very careful about his wording but he was able to say that if we think they're divas than we are free to call them divas. We also know that Wumuti is the driving force behind everything, he's the one that put this group together after working with most of them on a survival show, he''s heavily involved in the music from what i remember, he's talked about the two or so years of work they've put in to get to the point of debut and how incredibly personal this concept is to them. They're also very unapologetic about the kind of music they make and they're not willing to conform to what other people want, they're making the music they want to make and for those of us that love it. Personally this music video feels very.. man eater to me and i love that so much, thank you for lowkey being a venus fly trap and eating men. An additional thing, if you happen to check out the other tracks on this little album, Bizzness has choreo but i believe they've only performed for fans, i highly highly recommend checking it with the choreo. The song is good but the dancing takes it from good to incredible and i can't praise it enough.

I think it's fairly obvious that they are queer when you watch their other content. It makes sense to be worried about assuming, but I feel like XLOV has done everything except kiss men on video to let us know (and then we got Rui caressing the obviously male statue in this video). The leader, Wumuti, came up with the genderless concept himself, and he picked the members. He also produces on the songs and directs during recording, so he's very involved in what they put out and how it comes across. They actually do have a behind the scenes recording vlog of "I'mma Be" on their official channel, if you wanted to check that out. I could always be wrong, but it would be a HUGE surprise if they aren't. I think they're fully being themselves. About that one line; some fans are wondering if it was meant like he's talking to a woman or if he's telling the audience to call HIM papi chulo and/or mamacita, which would fit with the genderless concept at least.
