Thank you for wise words after the reaction. I just went through a loss myself so seeing this video really hit me. Losing a loved one is hard, especially when dealing with the reality that you'll never get to talk to them again. But what keeps me going is the memories of them that made me the happiest. That's what keeps them alive in my mind.

I think this was the first ever MV that caused me to BAWL my eyes out this hard tbh, like ive cried to MVs for sure but i dont think anything has ever gotten me THIS hard as this did. And its also soooo beautiful in a healing kinda way that makes me cry even harder ngl.

This short film really hits hard specially if you have lost someone dear to you may it be a partner or a family member or a friend. I literally bawled my eyes out when Esosa said that "You don't only lose the person that you love, you lose your future with them as well". I lost my best friend, my soulmate in 2017 and until now I carry that heartbreak and continuously mourn for her like a piece of my soul had gone with her. And to this day my greatest fear is that as I grow older, my memories of our moments together will slowly change or be forgotten. There will come a time when I don't know if what I was recalling was a memory of her or a dream that I had of her.

Kentaro talks in Japanese about "a lake in front of the tree" in the MV because it’s actually a reference to a Japanese aesthetic concept called borrowed scenery, where the foreground and background balance each other. Honestly, it was such a beautiful line in Japanese.

in the MV, the gas station scene when Kentaro is taking his clothes off and comes out to hand Lisa the keys is actually symbolizing his cremation and that now it’s her turn to go on alone without him.
