No clue if anyone in the live chat explained this, but the Busan Concert wasn't only livestreamed globally for free, it was broadcast all over Korea. That's why there were commercials; it's literally on TV. The Weverse stream was being streamed globally and on SK TV. There were also other SK platforms streaming / TV stations broadcasting as well, which was great cause Weverse crashed in like 2 minutes cause there were like 50+ million people trying to watch at once lol. There's also a version of the concert that's up on Prime (it's the crispiest, clearest concert footage my eyeballs have ever seen and the audio was immaculate lol, they must've had their own crew on site, I swear) This concert was the centerpiece for SK's bid to host the 2030 World Expo, so SK made sure any and everyone could watch it

Yes, it was because of the government, but if I remember correctly, months after, there was news about BTS putting their money on this because the government funds didn't have what it took for them to perform like they do. Idk if it was confirmed tho. Also, it was this thing to promote Busan, but I remember watching it live and feeling something was off. At the end of the concert, Jin gets pretty close to army and starts saying goodbye, and that's when it hit me, it wasn't about the government really, it was a goodbye concert. Literally the next day or a couple of days after the concert they released Jin's military enlistment notice. So this concert is impressive but also really bittersweet 💜😭

I think they didn't like the sponsor robot from hyundai. it's not a big deal to me but i can see why it'd ruin their mood.

In NYC, the NYPD were using the robot dogs in public housings but received a big public backlash that they stop using them for policing. Now it very useful for rescue missions and firefighting. Plus those dogs are creepy.

yes... they didn't even plan to show run bts choreography before 2026 initially. namjoon said in the mental state they were in at the time it would not be right to perform a upbeat song like that. (june 2022) and vegas concert was going to be their official goodbye until 2026 but they had to do this last minute... this is one of the best bts concerts if you ask me. and they also only talk positively about this but when you connect the dots about the media coverage last year... everything now makes sense. i'm just glad they were able to reminisce this a good memory but how it happened is really sketchy on the governments side.
