EDIT: Reading the love for Hyunjin is honestly so beautiful. I'm understanding the situation a little bit more now. It would be great if we here on Patreon could freely praise every single member without feeling weird about it. We are all OT8 in this household, we know you all are too. However it's really nice to read all the lovely Hyunjin comments. We do not get to read them often on YouTube. I really appreciate you all for this. the only two solos on this album that were performed live were limbo and hug me during the dome tour in 2023, the others performed different solos that aren’t released on anything (no yt no music platform) unfortunately 😕 deep end is a very very hard song for me to listen, i think i only did when this was first released because it’s just so heartbreaking….. but im so proud of felix. Run its the only HANPOP song that i don’t like musically (after Call 🤣) but the lyrics man … i think we all know what hanjis songs are from his personal experience and what not and if i remember correctly wish you back is inspired by the film’ your name' thinking what it would be like if it had a sad ending! Close was the first skz player (solo) mv that was released and then streetlight! I honestly think that in every song they release there's a piece of them, an experience or a felling they've had, and that's what made me stan them six years ago!! thank you girls for this reaction, i hope you’re both doing well 💚🩷

Deep End rant here. I was in a 13 year old relationship that ended. Everything was ok, then I posted this song because it hit me hard. A week or so afterwards, she ghosted me. Just stopped responding to texts or calls. We had lived together for the majority of the years, but she moved in with her sister to help her out the last year. So yeah, it's hard to listen to this song, because I've never gotten closure and it was a big part of my life. Just wanted to share my story into the ethos of the internet.

17:28 lee know himself said that he wanted to end the song like he ends his livestreams, suddenly. so it is a classic example of lee know teasing stays (which we love him for) 54:26 i think the reason love untold and han's run have kinda been forgotten is because at the time han and hyunjin had more solo songs than the rest of the members and those songs got more attention. it was new songs, and it was the first time lee know, felix, seungmin, and i.n wrote their own solo songs so they got more attention. but yes, hyunjin’s musical artistry somehow still gets ignored

I know you guys would eventually discover his full potential cause just like you guys im here for the music and the voices. I love Limbo so much, heavenly vocals and such beautiful writing. The repetition of the lyrics match the song perfectly, like he's stuck in limbo, reliving those memories, and unable to move on. The thing that you added about the song ending like waking from a dream, so good. Hyunjin's pengame is so slept on, he's so poetic. Quill Pen is one of my favourites and I'm still devastated that it's only on youtube, actually criminal. Han pop always gives me a sense of melancholy but in a comforting way, if that makes sense, I just feel very seen.

Skz replay is such an amazing record that shows so many sides of the boys. Hyunjin is my Ult and I love when he is able to give us solo songs that really showcase his vulnerable sides. He sings with so much emotion and his lyrics are literal poetry. He is able to show so much through his voice and his dancing too, I look forward to you watching his solo dance videos, they are so so amazing and just as impactful. Hyunjin’s artistic soul, deep thinking and emotional intelligence are all over his works and personality. His pen and the ideas he has whether it be for the choreos or songwriting are always so powerful in a very different way than many other artists. And for me the difference is the power and passion he brings in is just also very elegant and aesthetically pleasing. He’s not restricted to one style with his songs at all but you can always sense that his touch is there. The songs he takes part in producing are so grand in many ways, too. It wouldn’t be wrong for me to say that my favorite solo songs are mostly from him. And one of the biggest reasons for that is i almost always can see ‘hyunjin’ in his songs, they’re so much like him and it creates a strong bond for me to get attached to the songs. ‘Hey you’ and ‘Long for you’ are my personal favorites. He creates such sentimental and artistically inspiring moods with the sounds and lyrics that i can do nothing but adore him more and more. And then you have mic&brush which is a whole different side of him and also a very new sound for skz, too. This guy just loves what he’s doing and is full of creativity. One of the most hardworking and passionate guys ever also, as the other guys keep mentioning as well. I know i kept it too long but now I’ve realized i haven’t even started to speak on his dancing and performances. You can’t imagine for how long I’ve been struggling not to blow up your comment section about wanting you to watch some of my fav performances of him.. But I just know that you have a kinda planned schedule and already packed and I don’t wanna just throw it out there out of nowhere or knowing it wont probably make it to your list for now, you could say I am waiting for my time to come in a way. This man is a performance master, and the best performer ever to my eyes and liking. The fact that he created an abnormally attractive and technically amazing dance style of his own nobody ever can replicate or not be in awe of it.. I can never keep my eyes of off him so I get so happy like a child when you love and point out anything about him in the performances or fancams. His artist of the month performance, self-choreographed dances, some legendary fancams or his vlogs or lives where his soft and thoughtful, introverted and confident and also funny personality shines so much are so important to me. Dont even wanna start on how impressive his drawings and sense of artistry is. There’s too much to tell you about him and I do think you could only see so little about him so far, there’s so many different kinds of things and sides of him for you to explore. I’m glad it’s not rushed for you and you’re creating an actual strong boundary. I am just a bit impatient to see that boundary building in the process. But as I said I never wanted to bother you with too many requests when you already have things coming up and of course a side of me has always wanted you to see more from him. I am sure you’ll relate to him more and fall in love with the artist he is more and more the more you see from him. Also so sorry you had to see such comments, I wish those people didn’t have anything to do with hyunjin. He’s unbelievably pretty and the coolest person I could ever see and this is so attractive undoubtedly. He really really likes it when we call him pretty and handsome but also talented, creative, intelligent and passionate. I hope people wouldn’t just pick certain words he’d like to hear but pay attention to the whole thing. Also to see how much he loves and cares about Stay since day 1 and also how much he wants to be loved and appreciated by them as well as he always says.. Deep end is that song you go to when you want to feel. When you're crying and feel that's not enough to remove all that sadness you're feeling and need to cry more, that's the song you go to. Gut wrenching, but so beautiful nonetheless. Felix really came for our hearts with this one, I can't really listen to it without crying my eyes out so whenever I listen to my SKZ playlist and this song comes up I IMMEDIATELY skip it cause I'll become a mess if I don't 😢

I’m a Danceracha bias and a 3Racha & Vocalracha bias wrecker so I am ot8. I have a bit of a soft spot for Hyunjin, especially because I see every day how people treat him on social media. Many people call themselves OT8, but at the end of the day, they “use” Hyunjin for ships and fanwars. I like all the ships between the members, even though I don’t romanticize them. I’m not that kind of Stay. I just really love the friendships they have with each other, whether it’s all of them together or in pairs. Sometimes I even think I’d love to have friends like that too. They’re all so talented and hardworking, and they all deserve to be praised. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case, especially for Hyunjin and sometimes Felix. (I love Hyunjin but... I love Felix but...) On X, you can’t even openly say that Hyunjin is your bias anymore, even if you’re OT8, at least that’s how it feels. The moment you do, people jump on you and label you a solo stan or anti toward the others. So yeah, I think it’s become really hard for people to praise him for his music. I’ve been a Stay for four years, and I literally count how many hashtags I use for each member to make sure it’s equal so no one comes after me. It’s so sad. I love all eight of them equally.

for me the main issue with the fandom is how it is hard to praise hyunjin for them if it is not something really ground breaking or a huge deal. they most of the time dont seem to be acknowledging the fact that hyunjin can be admired by his own and without comparing to him anyone else. for example praising his dancing should never be an issue but it is. when people try to hype his performances or dancing or singing whatever there’s always a huge amount of stay bringing another topic or making it about someone or something else or turning it into a competition within the kids. like no, i just love his dancing and his presence and this should be talked about. they take the things he does, the details he pays attention to, his hardwork and his talents as granted so much nowadays that it’s hard to see him being admired or respected or appreciated as he deserves. this guy puts his everything into his work and deserves to be talked about just as much. It almost seems like they all think hj is too loved and praised already and it needs to be cut down or given to someone else more (within or out of the group) when it is the opposite. it is so heartwarming to see him getting love.

He’s not the only one who has solo stans that hate the other members, but in his case it becomes more obvious because he gets targeted a lot. Sometimes I even feel like the OT8 themselves are against him. I don’t even know what to believe anymore. I’m starting to lose interest in X.. I just log in, catch up on the news, report the malicious accounts, and log out. Also, I don’t even consider any solo stans of any boy who throw shade at the others to be real fans. I believe you can’t hate your bias’s family. I truly consider them family.

@cb97 Yes, thank you, you really expressed everything I wanted to say, but I struggle since I don’t know English very well. Truly, all the boys deserve love and praise without being compared to anyone. I really love all eight of them so much and this summer I saw them for the first time. I traveled from my country to France just to see them. I was there both days in tears, I never thought I would actually get to see them.

@fot thank you as well for bringing this issue up here cause it is hard to bear this kind of treatment from the fandom towards him nowadays. i wouldn’t really bother to mind if it was only a bunch of meaningless solo stans but nowadays so called ot8 stays hardly ever talk about him as a person or an artist and fandom in general (with many big stay accs from x well) don’t do justice and the bare minimum to him and they almost forget about him. i don’t know what it is with those people these days but i really also don’t wanna be present in those places seeing a member being treated this way by majority. you can never love everyone the same amount but if you love them all you should be able to show them respect and appreciation as they all deserve to the fullest, not a backhanded one too. also i am so happy you got to see them and your efforts to meet them paid off this well, i am sure it was the best experience ever and hoping you and all of us will have more of these chances and they’ll keep on being with us for a long long time.

In love untold the whole « spring is the season that i could not give you as a gift » refers to hyunjin’s hiatus… kingdom started aired in april/may so the whole spring of 2021 he was not there :((( But also, in korea spring is often viewed as a good thing like « making feel spring to someone » is supposed to be a good thing but he feels regreteful to not have been able to be there for stays to have a « good spring » because of his absence

I really don’t know why this happens or what it’s supposed to achieve… I couldn’t bring up this topic anywhere else, because I believe the girls are healthy role models, they may have their own biases, but they respect all the members like true Stays. I also believe that this “thorn in the neck” he’s been feeling over the past year (losing his voice) is because he’s receiving so much hate that he internalizes it all. It causes him anxiety, making him afraid to say or do anything that might bring even more hate. We’re talking about a human being with feelings, who goes on social media and is subjected to all these terrible things... it’s real violence.

To say I'm a Hyunjin girly is an euphemism, this man owns my heart and soul (and I'm half joking here, lol). I'm OT8, these eight men all bring something to the group, and I could never imagine it without one of them. It's just that everything Hyunjin does speaks to me; he's a pure artist. Whether it's his drawings, his dancing, the way he performs, his writing... I find him fascinating. His SKZ records are my favorites (along with Han), and I can't wait for you to finally listen to them (as well as his dance videos). OMGGGG YAY SKZ REPLAY!! ty as always for sharing ur reaction with us 🩷💚 i think this album is so so special for STAY cos it has songs finally freed from skz record limbo + solo/duo songs that are just masterpieces 😭 LOL it felt like jeongin teased you with that mellow intro then went SIKE and proceeds to sing about wanting to hug you forever 😭🤣 i think part of the reason why i don’t hype up song recs in the comments is cos EVERY SINGLE ONE is a banger like idk what to even push for first 😭 i also chilled out with the recs once u guys said that ur for sure gonna get to all of the songs/content eventually i also feel the same way with disk 1! i tend to listen more to disk 2 not cos i liked disk 1 less but because disk 1 songs tend to put me in a very specific mood that i shouldn’t often be in… but super happy to experience these songs again with you 🫶🏻 it feels like i’m listening to everything again with new ears ❤️‍🩹🤍

I was hooked on this album for so long. Run is my fav song. This is when I slowly started really seeing Han before biasing him. 2 years into being a Stay. The song had a choke hold on me and it makes my heart bleed behind the soft songs lies some heavy lyricism.Its how I'm feeling nowayads :( I haven't listened to it for a long time coz I hate being sad. This album destroyed me. Maybe I deep things too much. Even connected makes me wanna cry and I don't know why. Maybe coz I know I'll never want anyone the way Chris describes in his lyrics. Deep end straight makes me wanna end it all. Felix's voice is so sad in it. I love Skz :( Skz are very talented, and I just hope we get more solos and Hyunjin singing more because that little lama has a beautiful voice.

lmaooo searching up who else is singing on deep end is so real of you 😭 I love that hahaha I struggled to understand all those voices were his as well i was like, oh did this track come with sample vocals or choir in the back or something BECAUSE WDYM YOU CAN BE YOUR OWN BASS TENOR ALTO AND SOPRANO ALL IN ONE SONG???? WTF 😭 The Choir kid in me was shaking when I realised lmao Felix is too ridiculously talented to be so underrated. Not amongst stays obviously, but with non stays and especially those ridiculous ppl on tt who call him a dozen...like in wHAT world??!!! The man is part of danceracha so he's one of the best dancers in the group. He can rap (Muddy Water, Victory Song, Unfair) and stand out on a rap song with one of the main rappers in his unit (Truman) AND he can sing, has the biggest vocal range in skz, and has the second best stage presence in skz... like dozen my ass.

I love limbo.. it showcases how insanely soft and powerful his vocals are and i love that we get to have a whole song to enjoy!!! He also covered love me or leave me (day6) on youtube and you can see how much more hes improved vocally.. Limbo and Hug Me was performed as part of the japan tour solo member stages! Unsure why they decided to just release these two for streaming.. cause there are other solo songs from that tour that is still not released officially. There are def stages of Limbo and Hug Me online, if not on youtube then def on bilibili! if u need a link to it, lmk and ill dig up some for yall to watch!! Thank you again for your reactions and the level of respect and passion you are always ready to share with us. Still in the middle of watching (can’t do it at once T_T) but I just needed to say that I love your brains. Just finished the part reacting to DOODLE and I’m glad others also visualise MVs while listening to songs lol. Personally I envisioned Changbin and street art for this one. Graffitis starting very weird and abstract on a wall then turning into something more intense and agressive cutting walls into pieces only to finally reveal a city covered by street art and looking new, wild, surprising, amazing and like a completely different world than the one we started with. I loved both of yours as well and yeah A-Ha’s Take on Me vibes make so much sense (so does the handling someone above a cliff!) I can’t wait to watch the rest tomorrow but already an amazingly heartfelt reaction that I am deeply enjoying. Really helps with the stress so thanks again.

it just hit me how much lee know has grown as a singer because he started with no vocal training as a trainee before his debut, but now he’s improved so much and taking vocal lessons on his own. hes worked and practiced so hard on it and all his hard work really is paying off. like his improvement is so evident when looking back at his older clips years ago, where we rarely got any singing content from him, to now getting invited in solo vocal schedule.. :(( im so proud and happy he has the chance to confidently showcase his singing💕

As a Hyunjin baised girlie, he’s such a romantic. In the way he sees the world and people. He sees things in a way that makes me open my eyes to the world around me. When I listen to his music I’m like this is an artist all around. Painting, singing, performing are all a part of his art. So I just think of him as an artist at the end of the day. His voice also has some kind of affect on me, like I can understand the feeling he is trying to convey by listening to his voice. All of his songs I have a special connection to and so I really love when people hear him. He has such a good way with words and it’s like he’s painting with his voice. Anyways, I love him.

Now that I'm watching this, it surprises me that no one on YT commented about Hyunjin's songs. I kinda understand the first thing people point out about him is his dancing and visuals, but the guy is also sooo talented as a songwriter. I don't tend to comment "react to ___" because I really like how you are following your insticts and that's something a normal fan would do, but the fact that no one recommended hyunjin song to you is heartbreaking as a hyunjin biased. He is so skilled in picturing his feelings and thoughts in words and in painting in a way it mesmerizes people. All members have spoken about writing songs, but apart from 3racha obviously, the ones I think are more focused on it are Hyunjin and Felix. Whenever you are ready to start listening to the skz songs that are not on music platforms, I recommend Quill Pen or Long for You.
