LETS GOOO been waiting for this 🙏🙏 for the theme of the mv, it's about seonghwa and his struggle/journey with accepting his androgyny/femininity, there's a lot of shots that will make sense when you think of it that way like the one where there's a bunch of women on one side and he's separated from them by a line and he's thinking about whether he should cross it or not etc... (it's also why the presence of women dancers is so important in this mv) he used the concept of a snake/snake shedding his skin to convey his message so the bloody thing he pulls out from his neck & the red round thingy in the water bowl him and the girls are examining is snake skin that's starting to grow on him (and it's also why he transforms into a snake at the end)

When I first saw them, him and Hongjoong were the ones who grabbed my attention and the ones I thought might be my biases… but then Yunho happened lol. I love Skin, one of my fav solo songs from them, perfect song for Seonghwa. And he really is Taemin’s & DPR Ian’s son 😌

I don't know when this happened. I saw them live on this tour, and I was in such a shock watching his solo stage. Seonghwa is literally ethereal indeed. This music video was actual art and the way we can choose to interpret the message hidden in this is something very personal. I feel like Seonghwa chose this as way to share a large part of himself in a very subtle way. Every MV has a different feel, a different vibe for what each of them were going for as individuals and Seonghwa's definitely hits very hard.
