She performed Fallen Angel at Lollapalooza! And also performed Sweet Tooth, one of the 3 CD-exclusive songs (Face, Sweet Tooth, Lock It Down)! Lolla had an official livestream so there are plenty of HD vids of her performance, pleaseeee react to her performing Fallen Angel and Sweet Tooth at least (I think you have reacted to her performing Lock It Down, Heaven and Less Than A Lover already from the Gov Ball set)🙏

My analysis of the MV: The song itself and the lyrics, I think clearly represent being "fallen" from "heaven" after a breakup. In the MV those black and white film scenes that were played in reverse were all breakup scenes, so she is trying to reverse them ("Hey, can't you stay?"). And as you can see, in the MV she personifies a literal angel fallen from heaven, looking for a home and love, but her desire for freedom ends up burning/destroying the homes she finds. The butterflies she followed (and burned down the house in the process) representing metamorphosis and freedom for me. We see butterflies in the TV screen or pinned butterflies in frames, but she is following the real, alive ones instead of the artificial. The frozen blue roses are also super personal, they are Jennie's favorite flowers that her mother gives her every year on her birthday, so I see it as her trying to keep them frozen to preserve the innocent love of her childhood. But eventually we see the child, who represents Jennie's inner child to me, lead her right into the fire and they reunite, showing Jennie that the savior and the love and the home that she is searching for and trying to preserve is within herself. She might be "fallen" but she can "turn wherever she landed into a home" and be free enough to "fly" again even under the watchful eyes of the public (which to me is represented by the houses with the eyes surrounding Jennie's inner child in the beginning). The images at the very beginning of her falling into water also gives me further rebirth and transformation imagery, of changing through hardships and blooming despite them, tying into the words spoken at the end about the most beautiful roses blooming from sharp thorns. The MV ends with both Jennie and her inner child finding solace within the fire and the nest of thorns, in red, representing the roses just as the little girl says. When the POV switches to Jennie looking at us and gently closing the eyes of her inner child, it feels like both Jennie bidding farewell to her past to embark on her next chapter, and Jennie telling us, the audience, that we too can and should be our own home, our own savior, and even in fire, even among the thorns, we will bloom.
