I just had the most rollercoaster 2 hours in a very long time! I'm so glad this is coming back and so glad you got to listen and re-familiarize yourselves with some of these iconic songs. I've been having a MOMENT with Simple and Say Yes for a while now, so glad to finally share this moment with ya'll. As for the emotions... I think the best way to describe it is nostalgia. And I think we have a unique word for nostalgia because it truly is a mixture of the fondness for the memories we have made before and sadness for not being able to live that moment over again. So it's completely fair to feel both joy and sadness while going through this re-deep dive of Seventeen. Your channel grew exponentially and you've added so many groups. I think you've mentioned before, but that subconsciously could have been a protection response from the sadness that was coming with the enlistment era. But they have created so much for us to get through this time, so let's get through this together so we are all at our peak Carat level (lol) by the time June 2028 comes around. When you think you heard or seen it all from seventeen, there's always a random unseen video, it's crazy lol The boys sing Say Yes in a bunch of videos when they start reminiscing like there was a clip Seungkwan mentioned how when DK and him sing, they look at each other to harmonize but one time when they got into an argument, they looked at each other's philtrum instead. They pulled this song up as it was being talked about. I wish I remember what video exactly it came from but I remember you girls watched it! I love that you guys got to listen to Simple, Hit Song, and Space-some of my fav songs from the album! This was so fun to watch

2026-09-26 01:00 Actually still lonely and drift are also unit songs. Still lonely are Jun, hosh, dino, uji, wonwoo, DK & vernon. Drift away have 95 line, hao, gyu and seungkwan. This album is just so special to me is cuz first of all, the fact that they made this album with members from age 17 - 21 is just so insane, how so quickly after their debut they already had that signature SVT sound and they were so in the pocket if that makes sense. And pretty u and drift away are both pre debut songs which is even crazier, especially knowing that pretty u is what got them their first win 😭. Like izoom truly just makes healing music especially during this era while still having a lot of experimental elements (instrument wise, song structure wise etc) and IM SO SAD that this isn't the standard anymore, even with some of the recent svt songs lowk. Like re-listening to this, I heard stuff that I've NVR noticed before. It is just such a youthful and simple album which is why a lot of OG carats specifically really hold this one close to their heart. I think yall will really really love the going seventeen album, even though I'm sure yall have heard most of the songs on there. Most people who've been in the fandom, including me, for a while will say that going seventeen is easily one of their favorites. So happy that I'm able to relive my moments of discovering the boys through these early albums with you guys 🫂 Can't wait for the next one truly.

i have a lot to share hahaha. but let me start with saying that yes, it was mansae and it was a wordplay. joshua made it from a guesting IIRC and then hiphop unit turned it into that. i'll try to look for a clip and send it here. but it was joshua's idea turning mansae into monday to saturday
