Dr. Morello (Patreon)

character portraits for a villain (/villains) i'm brewing--Dr. Vincent Morello and his wife Lucia are courted by the small nowhere town of Weird, one with no prior doctorsThe couple have the odd habit of wearing a matching pair of glasses, and while the town is grateful for the value the doctor brings, rumours begin to spread as the two are never seen at the same time.based on Poe's Morella, a sensual scholar of necromancy who ultimately dies giving birth to a clone of herself which possesses the same soul (its all a little ambiguous)
