Gothic-Bimbo (Monstergirl) Transformation Comm (Patreon)

got an order to draw this gorgeous monstergirl vtuber sona going through a 3-phase "gothic bimbo TF". I kept this one a bit more tasteful since I only had the final character to work with. Client wanted a human version of her gorgon OC with braids transform into an undead gorgon. I came up with a sort of disgraced healer/ priestess -> terminally ill snake witch -> uncanny beauty through resurrection backstory. i had a lot of fun with this one, though I began to procrastinate when it came time to colour the snakes and hair in the final character lol

I keep coming back to tying "bimbofication" and "gothic" as a theme, partly because of the I truly believe there is a deep connection between the genres: sacrifice in the pursuit of beauty and pleasure (Dorian Gray, Jekyll & Hyde), reconstruction of the body (Frankenstein), deterioration of the mind (Poe), dark seduction and toxic love affairs (vampire fiction). The term has since entered public lexicon through memes but it was coined as a part of a circle of erotic mind control fiction writers in the 90s, and was used to describe works that were greatly inspired by Ira Levin's 1972 satirical feminist horror novel "The Stepford Wives". Nowadays its all over tiktok and instagram being promoted by pickup artists and beauty influencers but it's steeped in a history of stomache-turning suspense!

Anyways all I'm saying is I'd love to keep getting more work like this! It was a blast.
