been falling back into sleeping during the day when i have breaks from puppy duty, and staying up too late to get something creative out before the sun rises again.one of the things i want to explore more going forward (and its no surprise— i've been expressing it for years now) is the intersection of porn and horror, erotica and noir. i'm not worried so much that i won't be able to mix these things or make it look good, i just dont want to make smut that sacrifices the sombre expressions that have always fueled my art.so i'll try to practice making more of these little nihilistic pinups at too-late an hour when i feel the full brunt of my existential ouevre. maybe i'll challenge myself to spend the rest of decenber this way until i hopefully have more time to explore stories and sequences im drawing form.thank you for your support! <3
