I've put up this poll to ask all of you how you feel about my Skyrim NPC and Follower replacers that use SkyPatcher. Please comment on why you answered the poll the way you did. Thanks!

Which method of my replacer designs do you prefer?

Andrew Corey

I use EasyNPC for a bunch of replaces so it's not a huge deal for me. But SkyPatcher is cool.

Quackers24

Some modlist can be a pain to add replacers or require additional patching. I like skypatcher because it avoids those issues. Thank you!

Papa Bugbear

The flexibility that SkyPatcher offers as well as any future functionality it may offer.

David Hanna

I'm sure SkyPatcher is great for those who have trouble with getting your mods setup right, but personally I've never had any issue with that. Doesn't affect me either way.

Crochunter88

I'm also in the "I don't know club", but in theory I like skypatcher because if I add your replacers to a modified wabbajack list it should make it easier to override the other npc replacers in theory.

Dustin Henderson

No conflicts... Yet . Can there be conflicts? I have no idea

Valerian777

I prefer Skypatcher, but will also say I had very few issues with the old method as well. The only benefit I will say I see with Skypatcher over the other is with the handful of non-SPID / non-Skypatcher new equipment mods out there.

Marquez Black

I use both vision and pantheon, so I don't use the addon for skypatcher.

Robert Sharp

Skypatcher makes this so much easier for the most part. The mods being light is a godsend.

Buck

I like the idea of SkyPatcher but i can't really put my two cents in as im a ColdSun mod hog and have npcs active from all of the versions... lmao

Taranis

You already know why. ;)

Tyrex83

Hi, SkyPatcher's side here too and for the same reason as ForsakenGoth: because it is much more easier to use.

Zerachiel93

I'm not sure how much extra work it would entail, but could you add the option to utilize skypatcher in a FOMOD? I'm not to well versed in skypatcher but does it ONLY apply the visuals to an NPC or does it overwrite the wholke character record so that any changes done by other mods that arent visual are undone? such as packages or items

Adb1x1

I chose Skypatcher because it's much 'cleaner'. One thing I wish the FOMOD had, however, is if you happen to want to try anther replaced (doesn't happen often, but it does happen) when you deselect a replacer. it will do so cleanly. The times I've tried it, I've had to rename folders and remove them from the install list. Unfortunately, this has only worked to some extent, if the replacer is also using Skypatcher. Ones that use other methods won't work. Tried new games and such, without much success.
