Hello everyone!

I'm considering doing some rearranging of my mods. This might first effect the mods on Nexus before anything changes here on Patreon.

The first thing I'm considering is my "Selects" series. I might hide those mods on Nexus for a while as I repackage them in a different way or even make new mod pages that organize the NPCs differently than the approach I was using (The Supernaturals, The Companions, and The Devouts). I'll also be making some technical improvements to my SkyPatcher mods to improve issues that some people were having.

I've put up quite a few polls in the last few months. Now I'm trying to act on the decisions I made from the data that came from those polls. For example, I see how popular SMP wigs are, but there are only so many wigs I can put on over 100 NPCs without having a serious amount of duplication.

I was thinking of making a mod of just my chosen selection of wigs that allow people who use my mods to put them on any of my NPCs, including followers. The mod would come with a dialogue option (Not voiced) that allowed you to put any of the wigs in the pack on an NPC. I could then just add more wigs to the pack as more I like are released.

This means I would not include SMP wigs with anything new going forward - instead asking folks to use the wig pack. Maybe I could also include SkyPatcher patches that put certain wigs from the wig pack on certain followers or replacers.

So if you see the Selects mods go hidden, don't freak out - I'm just improving things. I won't be changing the visual appearance of any of the Selects NPCs that I've done so far.

I dig you still choosing smp wigs on your chosen NPCs and also releasing a wig pack for us to add wigs to others. You've always made solid choices I never feel the need to change on the wigs. 🍻

Let's talk about that my friend. I'm trying to devise a system to cut down on the time it takes me to deliver these replacers. The wig selection part you mention above takes a mountain of my time. It takes me an hour or longer for just one NPC to find the right one. I'm also always concerned about duplicates. So making a pack and having you folks choose your wigs yourself out of my favorites seems like a great way to get things done. Why is time so important? Because I have so much to do. Replacers take a lot of time when you are doing so many vanilla NPCs, but then I want to add custom voices to all my followers that don't have them and I want to extend all of their quests with stories and more features too. Finally, this is my only method of making a living now so its a scary line to walk since I might do something that causes a lot of people to abandon my work for something else. Another thing is I'm always concerned about providing everyone here on Patreon with exclusive content - that is super important to me.

Oh for sure don't think it's time effective for you to spend so much time picking a wig compared to players doing it! I usually take your wig and disperse them anyway to other NPCs. Faster releases of replacers, followers and content is definitely more important than wigs, which are subjective anyway. I support the wig pack moving forward. 🍻

And, as always, love and appreciate all your hard work and diligence Heath!

I may not play Skyrim anymore, but it's a pleasure to see what masterpieces my friend creates. No matter which path you choose, it will be a masterpiece! And that's great. \ʕ ᵔᴥᵔ ʔ/

cool I think this will be an effective way to save yourself some time and devout more attention to other matters. 1 such matter I am hoping for is that M'rissi replacer is she ready yet was so hyped to see that image months ago but never was released afterwards so curious whats up with her I think you nailed the cat girl look :)

I really like the approach. I am a huge fan of modularity in regards to Mods; this is one of my favorite things about many of your mods as opposed to other replacers, etc.; the ability to choose what parts you want (which NPC's to replace, etc.). I think any move in that direction is a positive one, as it gives easy choice/control to the user without requiring you to make a bunch of iterations of the mod itself.
