It's so great seeing comic panels with the new Ellie!! I absolutely love her hair now! I admit that it was very jarring when you initially released her makeover. And it's funny because I love short hair and my own is often in a pixie cut. But she just felt like a different person and it took getting used to. I just realized how Ellie's change is kind of a symbol of the changes and personal growth you are experiencing too. New Ellie, new ajoji 🥰

That's a very lovely way to put it, thank you! You're right, it's not just the haircut--she is different from the old Ellie. She's able to display a much wider range of emotions now that I have more access to mine. I'm not the same person I was in 2020. I've changed so much in the last 5-6 years and I think there is much more growth to be had. Once I'm able to free myself from this mental prison and get to a safer place, my art and output will improve without trauma getting in the way of my creative vision and ability to function in the world. I should have been able to be completely independent a long time ago, but we can't choose our starting point. I'm going to continue doing the best I can with what I currently have and I'll do my best to appreciate whatever I can learn from analyzing my personal history. Moving in this new direction is incredibly daunting, but I'm excited for whatever the future holds!
