Previous / Next PagesGetting into the heavier stuff is something a lot of webtoon authors are scared to do, since it tends to be less profitable than sticking to lighter content, but I want to give it a shot and see if it's worth it. I personally enjoy writing it, so I'm hoping I can find a good balance where I can continue to write this sort of stuff while also earning money to keep the comic going.

It’s so validating to have a character like Grave express the frustration of exactly what I’ve experienced. It’s sucks like really badly for a long time and then suddenly you’ve become an adult and you’ve gotta clean up the mess and heal the wounds that you never should’ve gotten in the first place. I really needed to see that in writing because sometimes I forget too it wasn’t my fault but I won’t self destruct 💖💖❤️‍🩹

I’ve felt so many emotions since beginning your comic about a week ago, but I didn’t expect to relate to Grave so much. His expression of his struggles is very relatable and validating to read and think about.. truly made me tear up. I’m finally on the healing path in my life after spiraling for so long- I hope Grave is able to work through more of his repressed self and show compassion to himself as he goes. Thank you x10000 for diving into this heavier content; this is the most complex/mature comic I think I’ve ever read.

I honestly went into tears after just reading Grave's response! He is so relatable as well as very lovable! The man that he is isn't the man who he was in the past & he deserves to give himself a whole lot of full credit for that as he deserves the best of the best & even Ellie knows & sees that in him! The type of love that Grave & Ellie have is very beautiful & that they both truly Aunthentically Love each other & is Real True Couples Goals! They are very open & honest with one another & they don't see each other as less than! They see higher & above & I see them both being together forever! I love the story about Ellie & Grave as they are very authentic & I love how they fit so incredibly perfectly well for one another! I honestly hope down the line it leads to them getting Married & having a Baby/Babies & a Beautiful Family of their own as that would be beautiful & a Highlight & More as Ellie is Wifey & Mommy Material & Grave is Husband & Daddy Material! Thank you for this! I left my last relationship because he had trauma similar to Grave's. But he preferred to stay in the spiral because it was familiar, and I wasn't worth trying for. Seeing Grave want to work through his, in his own space and time, because he recognizes that Ellie can be a good thing in his life? 😭 I am rooting for these two

I understand spiraling. I myself was several years ago. I had finally escaped my abuser and was hit with too much adult sized freedoms. It wasn't until I got the most adult form of responsibility that I finally snapped outta that spiral and started getting my life back on track. She'll be starting school this fall and we just welcomed her baby sister into the world on this past 13th.

Welp. I’m all buckled up Buttercup. We are along for this ride with you. Life isn’t all rays of sunshine and rainbows. I know too many people whom are afraid to talk about more heavy subjects. Where they see it as taboo or the plague. The Human Psyche and Emotions are never easy to deal with, especially if trauma is there. I have had to help my Dad over the years deal with PTSD from his time in the Military. We have been lucky. It could’ve been so much worse, he never went to the drugs and alcohol. However the trauma is there and it affects everyone differently. I love Your story and can’t wait to see where it takes these two precious souls x

Thank you ❤️ We all have our own coping mechanisms, but some are more dangerous than others. It's a blessing that your dad never went down that road because it's very common for veterans from what I understand. There's a wealth of subject matter to explore with the human psyche alone, but since I couldn't find comics that talked about these things, it's nice to be able to write about it to some extent ^-^

Well, we're here for it! And as much as we love the hot scenes - we love these characters and their journey too!! I really like this a lot because it's often the gal who has to overcome her problems to be able to have intimacy. It's nice to see a realistic scenario where it's the guy

Honestly - this is exactly what I expected when I started reading this story. And I'm really loving it. Oftentimes, the "tough" guy is just magically fixed after meeting the "innocent" girl and it gets old. I like how both characters have issues they need to work through and are growing themselves and their relationship.
