I want to preface this by saying I love this story and these characters so much! But I’m really happy you reworked the last two pages, something felt off but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was. Obviously unresolved trauma affects how you see yourself and your perception of how others view you, and Grave admittedly has unresolved trauma. But, it felt like the interaction between them was moving into trauma dumping red flag territory and that progression felt off. I love that these pages address why he made the decision he did in the context of their relationship, instead of just blaming unresolved trauma, he’s trying to break out of toxic old patterns because he wants something more meaningful. Although sex, even early in a relationship, can be meaningful, it seems that that isn’t his experience and it’s nice seeing him try to reframe what that means to him with Ellie because he truly cares about her.

Exactly. This is honestly kind of adorable because he hasn't really had a real relationship and I love that he sees her as more than a fling and wants to do better. 🥺 I just know when they finally have sex though they makin' love.
