There's this amazing piece of animation in Chainsaw Man where the characters are just quietly going about their life. I wanted to do that here with Ellie washing down Grave's body and lathering his hair. It's why sometimes I don't have the characters say much because I like these quiet scenes.

I always wanted to understand the bathing in Asia. Do you wash off before getting in the tub? Are you just using the tub to relax or what? And I’m assuming the bathrooms have floor drains right? So where’s the toilet bc I never see it so I’m guessing it’s in another area or the bathrooms are really large to have the room to sit and wash before getting in the tub?

Basically you wash and clean yourself like in a shower. Then relax and soak in a tub. The tub isn't exactly for getting clean and a lot of them actually heat the water separate from what America uses for the most part. (Water tanks, they work mostly like tankless heaters. AND are preset at various temps!) Basically sit down at a chair, and wash your hair and body then spend time soaking in a tub. There are various things for instance drains can be connected to the toilet to avoid water waste. It's actually pretty darn neat and I wish it could be in more practice. Some places with heavy water restrictions can benefit from that kind of water recycling.

I'd love to see a spa day with the two of them where they do their hair. I have long hair and it's a ritual to keep it nice. They both have long, beautiful hair so it must need a lot of upkeep. I think it would be a cute bonding experience

Your series is such a heart warming, deadly sweet, gorgeously constructed piece. Reading your captions add so much more depth to it and that’s what makes these series so much more personal, in my opinion. Having the mundanely quite soft moments, in my opinion, are one of the best things you can do with a partner. Especially talking about something of importance. It makes the quite moment afterwards blissful and heartwarming. Thank you for portraying these moments in your series.
