Congratulations to Owen's & Ian and their new names! They are both very happy with their names and are now arguing about which of them is Blaze and which of them is Bolt.

Thanks to George for the suggestion!

They are arguing about which one of them is Bolt and which one of them is Blaze - we should have a vote to help them decide!

All of this Bolt/Blaze fiasco should have been decided when we voted in the first place. Why did we have to choose two different names for both and why can't you use those that we already voted on for when we voted for their names, and such.

Because, reasons... Okay, really here are the reasons: We were voting for names and for professional names at the same time but separately. I had no idea which sets would be chosen for either and to be honest, it never occurred to me that there are two ways the two sets of names could be applied. The other reason is one of practicality. There were 8 sets of 'professional' names and 16 sets of 'given' names AND two ways that professional and given names can be matched to the individual characters. In order to vote on all of that at once *and* decide who is which, I would have had to list them like; "Kai (Maverick) and Dax (Renegade", "Kai (Renegade) and Dax (Maverick)", etc. That would be 16 * 8 * 2 = 256 potential combinations. There is a limit on how many choices I can have in one poll here on Patreon, it's 25, I believe. So, I would had to have conducted 11 polls at once in order to get every possible permutation accounted for!

O! M! G! Why are you making it so impossible? There was an easier way to handle it at the time of voting. Why don't you drop alla that particular idea and move onto another take on that that isn't so complicated for you, for us, for Dimitri and Sarah Taylor.

Well, the damage is already done, innit? The SUV is smashed and burnt, its occupants fled, the pipe delivery truck is ruined, the cat's out of the bag, the fox is in the hen house, the names are chosen, and cannot be un-chosen! Besides, over-complicating stuff is a Pratev specialty! 😄 Who in tarnation is Sarah Taylor? 🤔
