Development Log : Week of January 5 - January 11 (Patreon)

Since I don't want to be continuously spamming everyone's emails every day with my progress report, I'll be editing this pinned post throughout the week instead.

Current Stretch Goals

• $300 per month to unlock spicy side stories  (Achieved!)

• $600 per month for extended character Question & Answer sessions  (Achieved!)

• $1000 per month to unlock a second drabble each month (Currently: $1200/$1000)

Browser Compatibility:

• Works: Chrome, Opera, Safari (Mobile), Brave (Desktop)

• Doesn't Work: Firefox + derivatives (whyyyy), Midori

• Also, apparently the sound files aren't working properly on iOS. 💀

January 5

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~300+ Lines of Code. (Currently at line 17250 out of 17405, Approx. ~2200+ words)

• Second icebreaker done. Mostly finished with the third icebreaker, which caps off Percy's part of the Free Time Hub. The pocket menagerie makes its first appearance.

• Created previews.

January 6

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~160+ Lines of Code. (Finished at line 17,416, Approx. ~1000+ words)

• Percy's Free Time Hub is finished. Preliminary RandomTest passed. Bugs + typos fixed in previous files. Now prepping files for next Alpha update.

January 7

• ~250 words written/coded of game.

• Whoops, just realized I never wrote a way to back out of Adrian and Percy's Free Time Hubs.

• Finished updating files. QuickTest Passed. RandomTest x 60,000 passes. Alpha Update incoming.

January 8

• Last minute sound effects created + additional testing

• Alpha Build updated

January 9

• ~2300+ words written/coded of game.

• The skill-boosting section of the Free Time Hub has been set up. Making my way through Merlin's first proper magic lesson now.

January 10

• ~2500 words written/coded of game.

• Magic lesson continues! Nearly done, so this section should be finished up tomorrow.

January 11

• ~2600+ words written/coded of game.

• Merlin's magic lesson + Adrian's physical training sections are done.
