Development Log : Week of April 27 - May 3 (Patreon)

Since I don't want to be continuously spamming everyone's emails every day with my progress report, I'll be editing this pinned post throughout the week instead.

Current Stretch Goals

• $300 per month to unlock spicy side stories  (Achieved!)

• $600 per month for extended character Question & Answer sessions  (Achieved!)

• $1000 per month to unlock a second drabble each month (Currently: $1100/$1000)

Browser Compatibility:

• Works: Chrome, Opera, Safari (Mobile), Brave (Desktop)

• Doesn't Work: Firefox + derivatives (whyyyy), Midori

• Also, apparently the sound files aren't working properly on iOS. 💀

April 27

• 1300+ words written of April's Q&A session.

• ~150 words written/coded of game.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~185 Lines of Code (Currently at line 30859 out of 33707, Approx. ~1500 words)

• New Adrian dialogue hub finished + some extraneous code checked. Finally made it down to the Chore Hub itself!

• Browser crashed while I was halfway through the Q & A post, so not much progress made on the main game today. That's what I get for assuming that Wordpress auto-save function was working properly

April 28

• 800+ words written of April's Q&A session.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~220 Lines of Code . (Currently at line 31079 out of 33707, Approx. ~1800+ words)

• First Aid hub is done.

• Created preview + images

April 29

• ~600 words written of April's Q&A session.

• ~300+ words written/coded of game.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~400 Lines of Code . (Currently at line 31283 out of 33827, Approx. ~1800+ words)

• RV driving lesson with Merlin finished + new Merlin text message written + checked.

• Preview created.

April 30

• ~550+ words written/coded of game.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~320 Lines of Code . (Currently at line 31542 out of 34003, Approx. ~1900 words)

• Plinking my way through the phone modding hub which is the first section with the crazy coding. So many new gosubs created.

May 1

• ~600+ words written/coded of game.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~325 Lines of Code . (Currently at line 31856 out of 34149, Approx. ~1600 words)

• Still ensnarled in the phone mod hub. Holy gosub jumping, Batman.

May 2

• ~400+ words written/coded of game.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~300++ Lines of Code (Currently at line 32157 out of 34274, Approx. ~1400 words)

• Did way more than 300 lines but it's hard to keep track with all the gosub jumping between the different files. The phone mod mire continues.

May 3

• ~450+ words written/coded of game.

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~260++ Lines of Code (Currently at line 32303 out of 34274, Approx. ~ 1100words)

• Finally done with the phone mod section. Next up using those pearls of protection... whose coding is just as complex. I think... hope... it doesn't have as much gosub jumping around the text file, however.
