Thank you for the guidance and encouragement with this great video! It is something I am really going to try to make an effort to do, starting with one per month. Even if it is a review I just keep to myself, I think it will help me to be more engaged with and aware of the thoughts and feelings the book has created in me at that point in my life. I think the biggest hurdle is me getting out of my own way on that, and so many tips in this video will help me take steps in making that possible. Knowing that it is alright to not have clear, complete thoughts all of the time and that things don’t need to be perfectly edited right from the start is very reassuring with this process. Looking forward to part 2 of this video :)

Perfect! I'm elated to hear that - one per month is the magic number! Even if you do keep your reviews private, when you get to the end of the year, you'll have a really special book which is more personally revealing than any diary. I've looked back on my own book journals, and seeing the reviews for all the different books at a glance unlocked an entire year of my life. It's quite amazing :) And, absolutely, the key is to pivot into the imperfect. Give yourself permission to write without a filter - it's very liberating. Part two on the way! Thank you, Michelle :)

I really love this lecture; so full of kindness and encouragement. In the past, I had often refrained from commenting on great books or reviewing them because what could I truly say that would be interesting or new or insightful. The books have been reviewed and analyzed by great thinkers many times over. That’s why I appreciate what you’re doing here Ben and am so thankful for this community. I’ll leave it at that. By the way, was there ever a part 2?
