Dear Book Club Readers ---

I hope your reading is treating you well!

Here are a few things I wanted to say to the community as we continue to read great literature together:

1) A very warm HLBC welcome to new patrons

Welcome aboard, and thank you for reading with us!

Do let us know which book(s) you're enjoying at the moment and what life is looking like for you.

2) Coffee with Hardcore Literature

Do you have any questions about reading the Great Books?

If so, please do let me know either here or PM me as I would love to sit down with a coffee and record my answers for a special show.

Here are the last three Q&A episodes:

3) A deep thank you for being here

Your discussions around the great books are such a joy. It's so inspiring to see fellow readers sharing their excitement and love for these magnificent writers.

It's also intensely heartwarming to know that we have such a kind group of sensitive thinkers encouraging one another through the challenges posed by these titans of literature.

Thank you for deep reading these great books with us and for creating such a beautiful community to lovingly discuss great literature.

Happy reading, everybody! Do let us know if you have any bookish questions for our Q&A show!

Michele McGlone

My question may be coming in too late for this months Q&A but here it is. Ben I picked up from you a very brief almost off hand comment that you plan your reading and your exercise for the week in advance. I started doing that too a few weeks after joining HCLBC in December. My question is, can you elaborate on how you plan your reading (and exercise too if you don't mind sharing). It boggles my mind how many things you are readingat the same time and it would be a big help to see how you keep it all straight. Thanks!

Tatiana

Is Tales of the Genji a possible big read one of these years?
