Hello, special members of the Executive Wave Cannon Research brigade!I’m excited to present you with the private premiere of  RETRO ARCADE ANIME: R-TYPE!This is an update to the original animation I did for Mashed last year. You’ll note new scenes, remastered animation, more backgrounds and more explosions! I want to personally thank you all for being the driving force behind this creation and hope you enjoy getting the first peek along with a special thanks to you, plus 1080HD download, script copy, and a special narrated video release with behind the scenes background set tour.(A zip file with all of the items is linked below)

As a courtesy, since the rest of Youtube will have to wait a week, not sharing the private link yet would be highly appreciated. Official prints will be available at a later date, but here is a free poster with .psd file for your viewing pleasure!

So, settle into your comfiest chair and enjoy.

SO sick! The dialogue felt weird, I don't know if it was just the timing was slightly off, or if it needed to feel more atmospheric, like blend better, it just sort of sits on top of the audio track, but srsly awesome! The real winner would have been if they both noticed some sort of humorous game to jump into at the end. Honestly if the licenses were an issue the two of them could have just been like on "AWW YEAH" and pointed off screen as IF they noticed their next target to give the short a more energetic ending! Still ends on a cliffhanger, but it suggests to you that it's an exciting one!

Awesome work sir! Dialogue was a bit... Odd... but visuals and sound were great! Keep up the good work!

The first thing I did after watching the film (and the making off) was save an snapshot of the arcade center, where you can see all the figurines and consoles. I really like that background :D
