I'm in a hurry so I'll keep this short! I enjoyed the episode! I'm happy to get a bit of a Dawn centric episode and kind of address some insecurities she may be having about herself. I feel like its pretty relatable, especially for people who have older siblings and compare themselves to them. Also, I need to see Xander and Spikes roommate dynamic again lol

I think one of the best easter eggs from this episode, that I've only recently learned about from other reactions, is that the song that plays when everyone falls in love with RJ is the "Theme from A Summer Place". Back in season 2's "Inca Mummy Girl," Devon asked Oz what a girl would have to do to impress him and Oz says, "Well, it involves a feather boa and the theme to A Summer Place. I can't discuss it here."

Here's a paradox, would Anya have actually shared any of the money she stole with RJ? Or would her inherent love of money override the effects of the love spell, the way Buffy's love for Dawn did?

lol I never considered that! I wonder what Anya actually DID do with the money, probably invested it.

“Theme from a Summer Place” has been THE cliche love music since 1959 when that movie was released.
