Hey guys! Here is the YT edit for Deadpool 2, which will premiere shortly!

Change of plans! It's having a hard time passing copyright checks on YouTube, so we'll push the premiere to tomorrow. In the meantime enjoy it here!!

This may be a hot take, but this is my favorite Deadpool movie

John

Gotta watch those wind advisories homies

Happy Hanukkah

0:13 😲 Sorry, I seem to have stumbled across the wrong channel. 😄 47:04 😄

Joel Baumgartner

When you said “I’ll never forget the little hand” I busted out laughing, thinking about what’s coming in this movie.

Cole Jennett

Still find it funny how they both mispronounce Thanos. It’s not like they are comic readers and are misreading it, they’ve only ever heard it on film.😂

Bryan Fritchie

When Deadpool's arm gets wrapped around Cable, why does Carly sound like she's invoking the name "Bryan"? 😂 Juggernaut's brother who is in a wheelchair is Charles Xavier. Was your first Deadpool 2 reaction on YouTube? Because I'd swear I had watched it and I was thinking you didn't get the X-Men cameos & a bunch of the references. Either way, I'm glad you got them after doing all your homework this time. (PS: Do your homework for D&W).

Bryan Hathaway

Isn’t cable the son of Gene and Scott?

LittleGalaxyBoy

One more X-Men film, chere. Dark Phoenix (2019) closed out de main series before Disney swooped in on Fox. After dat, you got The New Mutants (2020) more of a spin-off, not really tied to de others, but I’ll admit, I liked some bits of it. Ah, but it’s really up to you both if ya feel like watchin’. Dark Phoenix? Dat’s de last one with de younger X-Men cast, but between you and me, it wasn’t exactly de best. Me? I’d say go for X-Men ‘97... ‘cause, well, it’s just that good, mon ami. Alright, I'll stop with Gambit’s accent now, haha. If you're looking for closure on the younger X-Men, I'd suggest giving Dark Phoenix a try. It's the direct sequel to X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) making it the last X-Men film. It’s a bit of a strange note to end on, especially since the storyline was clearly setting up a sequel we never got. So, I wouldn’t blame you if you decided to skip it. So, with that. Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) should be your next step into the world of the X-Men, unless you surprise us with X-Men '97, which is my personal favourite X-Men project from the last two decades. Either way, I'm excited to see what happens next!

***ABOUT CABLE*** Cable aka Nathan Summers, is the son of Scott Summers aka Cyclops and Madeline Prior, a clone of Jean Grey aka Phoenix. Mr. Sinister, an evil mutant cloned and replaced Jean Grey with a copy and nobody knew better. During that period, Scott and Madeline had a baby called Nathan. Mr. Sinister failed to kidnap the baby so he infected him with a “techno-organic” virus designed to eat away his flesh and replace it with metal tissue. Forge, a mutant from the future came back at that point to take the baby back to the future where the technology existed to slow down the virus. Scott had to choose between watching his son die or let him go and never see him again. As an adult, Cable uses his telekinetic powers to keep the virus from spreading further but when he loses his concentration or becomes unconscious, the virus spreads again turning him more machine and less man. As an adult, he has lost nearly his entire left side of his body to the virus. Cable eventually comes back to the present to stop an assassin from killing the X-Men and meets Scott in the process. He blames Scott for abandoning him in the future where he grow in an apocalyptic world ruled by Apocalypse. The relationship between the two is rocky at best.

Well there goes that surprise :( I think it’s best not to bring up comic storylines right now, as they can easily be adapted for future films or shows that Cassie might watch down the line. So revealing it here would just spoil any future X-Men projects Cassie may watch, though this hope she forgets all this information beforehand lol

Stan the Man

You guys missed the, um, extra end credits scene where he goes back and…well…does something both extremely bad and good

Nick

Dark Phoenix isn’t an offshoot. It’s the sequel to X-Men: Apocalypse and 4th and final movie of the McAvoy/Fassbender/JLaw/Hoult movies. It’s not terribly good, but it is a must watch to complete the series. New Mutants is an offshoot that was released directly to Hulu after the Disney/Fox deal closed. That you can miss. There are also other Fox Marvel movies worth watching before Daredevil & Wolverine that are (or already have been) adapted into the MCU: Daredevil (2003), Blade & 2 sequels, Fantastic Four (2005) & sequel.

Connor Ellis

Do the other two if you want, but there's more essential movies for DP and Wolvie: Daredevil (2003) Blade (1998) Fantastic Four (2005) Sequels not needed really. Just for context on characters.

greggreggreg2000

Since everyone has their own opinion on the subject maybe do a poll with 4 options for everyone to vote on: 1. Watch Dark Phoenix, Skip New Mutants. 2. Skip Dark Phoenix, Watch New Mutants. 3. Watch both Dark Phoenix and New Mutants. 4. Skip both Dark Phoenix and New Mutants.

Chris Thom

Carly's neck pop maneuver may be the closest thing to The Exorcist we get on this channel.

Chris Thom
>>149742186

This one seemed nicer than the first somehow. Not sure if that's accurate.

Neill Shaughness
>>149742186

I think this one has more "heart". His efforts are much less selfishly motivated this time, the development of relationships, both old and new, are generally pretty positive, and it has a New Zealand accent in it. I'd say it is nicer

Cole Jennett
>>149758996

Problem with these is you are going to get votes not to watch either from the people who weren’t interested in watching X-Men in the first place.

Nick
>>149753156

I doubt it was meant to be the last during preproduction and filming, but the Disney-Fox deal was announced exactly 2-months after filming completed. During the ~18-month post-production it became clear Disney would take the X-Men in a different direction and by the time it came out in June 2019, it was well known that Dark Phoenix would be the final film this version of the characters (potential multi-verse crossovers and cameos notwithstanding).

Mark Schamber

He can't hate Green Lantern too much, it's where he met his wife. :-)

Philip Alan
>>149749017

No one liked it. haha! But I feel they need to watch for some type of closure? Meh, I don't even know.

Philip Alan
>>149753077

Yeah, Baby H is on the other version they didn't watch. :) I thought the same until I checked my version too.

Philip Alan
>>149742186

@Chris for sure they took the "nice" MCU route with this one. But I love it just as much as the other ones.

Wesley White

I guess the YT Copyright Police have seized posting it on YT today, dagnabit lol! Oh well, I guess I'll wait till tomorrow lol! This was a great reaction when I watched the full-length! Now I can't wait for you two to react to DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE! Love and support🥰😇🙏🤗😁😉✌👍🌹

Stan the Man
>>149753077

Wait, what? Which version has the Hitler baby? I didn’t even know there was another version

Clarence Newman

Cassie: "There are 87 F-words in this movie." Scarface: "How quaint." For the record, Scarface (1983) officially (Family Media Guide) features 207 uses of the F-word, which is 1.21 Fricker-bombs every minute of screen time. Popcorn Pick of the Month, Cassie?

Clarence Newman
>>149759271

I bet she uses that in her kickboxing: Crack! Crack! "Let's start building some hurt'n bombs!"

Clarence Newman

Just finished watching this. Both ladies ended up smiling and joking, energised for the rest of the day, so I can take a break from my white knightery. Great reaction, great hair, and a really fun time for all. Except the Youtube Gestapo, apparently. A pox on them and their joy-sucking ways. As for Cassie's statement that she "loves an audition montage", here's a few films containing good ones: The Longest Yard (1974) - Burt Reynolds builds a football team out of prison inmates. Coming To America (1988) - Eddie Murphy looking for a wife in the ghettos of Queens, New York. Reservoir Dogs (1992) - Tim Roth auditioning as if his life depended on it. The Full Monty (1997) - A Carly-safe satire of male stripping with a fun audition scene.

Devilfrog

It seems that YouTube is increasing their copyright claims, must be a pain in the a.. right now - so thank you even more for your work and patience.

AV

Always so much fun hanging out and watching movies w you guys! 📺🩵🍿🛏️

Richard Maurer
>>149750411

Also, it's not like Marvel films doesn't change comic canon whenever they want to, so we really don't know what Cables MCU origin is until they decide to give him one, if they ever do.

Edwin
>>149750411

I only gave her the info because she asked for it and let’s be honest, there’s cero chance of a Cable movie in the future. The character is not just that big.

Michael West

Love this reaction. I thought you guys might enjoy this one. It is such a fun watch.

Story Archer
>>149758006

While none of those movies are absolutely essential, time spent watching them would be MUCH better than time spent watching the drek that is Fox's second failed attempt at the Phoenix Saga. Otherwise it'd be like watching No Way Home without knowing who Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield are. I actually liked New Mutants, because I was such a fan of the initial Chris Claremont/Bill Sienkiewicz run, specifically the Demon Bear story arc... but its pretty hard to call it an X-Men movie.

Story Archer
>>149758996

You're going to get more than a few from the people who were too. Dark Phoenix is God-awful.

LittleGalaxyBoy
>>149750411

More so speaking on a certain X-Men Animated Series that Cassie may watch. I know she's reacted to the trailer and has heard great things about the show from friends, family etc. Everything you mentioned does spoils a whole epiosde of the show so that's why I brought it up, in case Cassie does watch it.

LittleGalaxyBoy
>>149749017

I was pretty mixed on it as a fan of the comics, animated series as well. I like aspects of it and I know the director was passionate about the project but was held back by the studio so that shows in the final film. But I still think it's worth a watch if they want some closure, though there's much better X-Men projects like X-Men '97 and of course Deadpool & Wolverine that both Cassie and Carly would enjoy more.

Story Archer

I'm sure somebody has mentioned it, but I haven't seen it so I'll bring it up - that redneck talking about toilet paper vs. wet wipes early in the film, the one that Cable tasers? That's Matt Damon in an unrecognizable stealth cameo.

Bryan Lennicx

I didn’t hate New Mutants. It’s an ok movie. Some of the characterizations of characters I didn’t like. Example making Illyana racist. The only problem I felt was by the time it came out. Disney had bought Fox and we knew it wouldn’t go anywhere. And Dark Phoenix was just bad. So bad. Twice they’ve tried to live action adapt that story and failed

Joe
>>149753156

The multiverse makes any nonsense possible forever (haha).

Cole Jennett
>>149758996

I should clarify that I don’t think either were good. I just meant the poll will be skewed against, because of people voting who would have voted no to any X-Men at all in the first place.

Happy Hanukkah
>>149769416

Not to mention that Cassie's already seen Goodfellas, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, the animated Robin Hood, The Departed, and True Romance. About the movie itself, Scarface is of course a classic, but I've always been more partial to Carlito's Way (1993).

Chris Thom
>>149769416

Wolf of Wallstreet is up there with f bombs I think. Might be top five ever.

Clarence Newman
>>149769416

Aye. 506 uses, 2.81 per minute, which is the highest of any mainstream movie. Strangely enough, I think Cassie's seen that one, so Scarface might seem tame in comparison.

Clarence Newman
>>149769416

I just reread Hanukkah's comment. Are you suggesting there are F-bombs in the Disney animated version of Robin Hood?? Was that a Director's Cut?

TheGuy
>>149753156

It really does, doesn't it? I think it is the lazy writers ultimate trump card. "Oh crap, I backed the story into a corner and can't get out!" (ring, ring) "Hey Dr. Strange, you got a minute?" So now, the multiverse, microverse, or time travel can fix/re-boot anything! Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it, it is genius from a creative point of view and will help keep our favorite characters and stories hanging around for a long time. To be fair, I would have to admit I am not a canon person, never read comics and so it is easier to just absorb whatever they throw at me.

Ria Grix

Yup, I didn’t mind the New Mutants movie. I think it works better as a standalone movie if you don’t think about forcing it into a timeline etc.

Philip Alan
>>149753077

There's 3 versions. They watched the theatrical version. (other two are: Once Upon A Deadpool & Super Duper Cut.

Chris Thom
>>149772431

Feel like there was one in Sister Act 2 where Lauren Hill gets up and blows everyone out of the water. But not sure if I'm imagining that. But when I think of a montage I think of singers.

Just Plain Bob

Fun fact. “Deadpool” was the second movie to bear that name (sorta). “The Dead Pool” starring Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry in the last movie of that series, has Inspector Callahan searching for the person responsible for murders in a movie set. The murders are following the pattern of a dead pool set up by participants in the film. It was the first time I ever heard of the concept of a dead pool and preceded the comic book character’s introduction by two years. I’d love to see Cassie react to the Dirty Harry films. Even the least of them (the dead pool movie IMO) is still fun. And the first film in the series is an absolute classic of the genre.

FilmFanFred

Absolutely loved this reaction! It's the first time I immediately watched it a second time just to see Cassie's and Carly's reactions!

Adrian Knapp

Carly: oh no something bad going to happen Cassie: why? Carly: the toaster strudel! Don't know why that got a big laugh from me 🤣

Author Travis Adams Irish

The leg grab is hilarious. Good communication, nice editing. More Domino and less Russell please. Also, the baby Deadpool sequence went on too long. I got a raise today, so this is a good end zone dance.

Clarence Newman
>>149957946

Did you not tell us that you already make more money than God, Trav? Any chance you can buy Popcorn In Bed and make it a Star Trek channel?

Author Travis Adams Irish
>>149957946

Haha. That's great. Well, the Queen of England holds that title, but I did find out recently that I make more than the Director of the FBI. The value of Popcorn in Bed is a bit steeper than my Christmas budget. A top YouTube entertainment channel is probably $5 million to $10 million. Now we just need to find the Star Trek fan who wants to make that deal. Quentin Tarantino? But then it would be Popcorn in Bed with feet sticking out at the camera. No Bueno. However, more Star Trek.

Joe
>>149957946

I saw one channel on YT that has the billionaire Brandon Fugal as Executive Producer. Not sure if he likes Star Trek though (haha).

Mark Daniels

As shitty as Green Lantern probably was, isn’t that when RR met BL?
